It was a flip and Mandavia was looking to improve to stay alive. He didn't do it on the {6-Spades}{7-Spades}{8-Diamonds} flop, which gave Gunn a gutshot straight draw, but Mandavia found the {a-Diamonds} on the turn to take the lead. The {4-Spades} river was of no consequence and Mandavia survived to continue his quest for a gold bracelet.

The marquee tournament is $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em Championship, which takes place on Friday, July 31. All events will kick off at 3 p.m. PDT.

With "fortisque" automatically all in from the small blind for their last 1,808, David "denda24" Enda opted to jam for 445,113 from the hijack. "SASHADOGGY" was next to act in the cutoff and opted to call off for 441,733. The rest of the players folded and a massive pot was on the line.

Both Enda and "fortisque" would go bust a short time later.

Hudson had the best hand but Java flopped best when the {q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop gave him two pair. The {q-Clubs} turn made it a boat, and after the {3-Clubs} was run out on the river he collected the bounty of Mendez, who was eliminated in 132nd place for $907.90.
