Anatoly Filatov, 2nd in chips to start Day 2

The Final Day of Event #1: $50 The Return NLH is almost ready to get underway, and they'll be playing for a lot more than the $1 million guarantee. There is still one Day 1 running for this event, but there is already more than $1.4 million in the middle to play for.

Across all the Day 1s so far, more than 24,000 players and more than 6,000 rebuys have been recorded, with more than 2,800 runners returning so far with a stack for Day 2. GGTeam member Anatoly Filatov is among the leaders going into Day 2, bagging the second place stack at this point with 2,222,884 in front of him. That trails only Polish player "Let_Me_Be", who bagged almost 2.6 million to start Day 2.

The Final Day gets underway at 4:30 p.m. eastern time, and they'll play down to a winner before the end of the day. Action will proceed with 10 minute blind levels starting at 10,000/20,000/2,500, though that will move to a set number of hands per level when the final table commences.

They won't quite be in the money yet when they come back for Day 2. There are only 1,600 paid spots up for grabs, so nearly half the returnees on Day 2 will go home empty handed at the end of their day. However, lucky cashers will start out getting $179 return on their buy-in at 1600th place, but stand to win more than $160,000 in addition to the Gold Bracelet if they are the last player standing today.

Stay tuned here for all the Day 2 action in the The Return, and PokerNews has you covered with all the bracelet action from GGPoker during the 2021 GGPoker WSOP Online Bracelet Events.
