The 2021 GGPoker WSOP Online Bracelet Events are about to throw down some four-card action as Event #24: $1,050 Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha is set to kick off within the hour and will be another 2-Day event on the bracket as the series draws near the end.

An hour prior to the start of play and there are already 90 runners signed up for the exhilarating bounty/Omaha combo that is lined up. All will be gunning for a shot at the WSOP jewelry, but most will be drawn to the game-altering progressive bounties that get extremely lucrative during the latter stages of any tournament. Half of the buy-in will be on every head to start the day, having at least $250 go right into the pocket of anyone who scores a knockout, and all bounties can only increase as the event rolls on.

Some big names have hit the registration button, included are GGPoker Omaha Squad member Fernando "JNandez87" Habegger, Jessica Teusl, Stuart Rutter, Thomas Hueber, Ludovic Geilich who took down Event #30: $25,500 Super High Roller on GGPoker this past March for a monster $635,080 score, and WSOP bracelet winner Richard Gryko who won his solo bracelet in an Omaha event in 2015.

All players will start with a 25,000 stack and will have the blinds increase every 15-minutes. The late registration period will remain open until level 15, which is just over four hours in length, and all runners can have up to two re-entries during that time.

Day 1 is set to play a total of 32 levels unless the final seven is reached first. Either will see all remaining players bag up for the night, returning Friday, September 3, at 5 p.m. GMT to play it out, not stopping until a champion is crowned and a WSOP bracelet has been earned.

The PokerNews live reporting team will be here throughout the entirety of this event, so stay tuned as the first day gets underway at 5 p.m. GMT.

Livshitz Holds On to Double Through Varonen

Niveau 2 : 75/150, 18 ante

Daniel Dvoress opened to 525 from under the gun and Gaby "kidrurim" Livshitz three-bet to 1,737 in the middle position. Lauri Varonen was in the cutoff and elected to four-bet, making it 5,961 to go. Action folded back to Livshitz, he five-bet to 18,633 and Varonen jammed. Livshitz called his 3,020 that he had behind and the cards went face up.

Gaby "kidrurim" Livshitz: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Lauri Varonen: {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}

The {j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop landed on the virtual felt, giving Varonen a straight draw. Unfortunately for him the {9-Hearts}{4-Hearts} runout did not improve his hand and Livshitz pulled in a double with his kings.

Dvoress Quickly Slows Down Livshitz

Niveau 2 : 75/150, 18 ante

Daniel Dvoress opened to 525 from middle position and Gaby "kidrurim" Livshitz called in the cutoff. Tung-Yu "Unodostres" Chen completed from the small blind and the flop rolled out {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}.

Chen tapped, Dvoress bet 917 and Livshitz raised to 3,118. Dvoress was the only caller to see the {7-Clubs} turn with Livshits who bet 4,842 and once more Dvoress called.

The {8-Spades} river completed the board, both players checked and Livshitz showed {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for two pair. Dvoress tabled {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for a higher two pair thanks to the board pairing eight on the river, scooping the pot.
