Padilha Finds a Double on the Bubble

Niveau 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,200 ante

Action folded around to big stack Mikita Badziakouski in the small blind, and he moved all in. That put Brazilian Pedro Padilha to a decision for his final 110,000 and change, and he would make the call with {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. He was actually dominating the {8-Spades}{7-Hearts} held by Badziakouski, and the flop of {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} gave Padilha a stranglehold on the hand. Only two cards would help Badziakouski now, but neither of them came, giving Padilha a nice double.

The Money Bubble is Nearly Here

Niveau 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,200 ante

The virtual clock says 75 players remaining, but only the top 71 will be earning a payout of at least $8,300 and change. The blinds are currently 5,000-10,000, and the average stack is 320,000 and change.

Once the bubble has burst, a fresh round of big stack chip counts will be posted.

Martin Knocks Out Diaz

Niveau 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

After Kevin Martin raised it up in the cutoff, Bernardo "GGeKKo" Dias moved all in from the small blind for around 100,000. Martin called with {a-Spades}{j-Spades}, and he was dominating the {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} of Diaz. The board came down {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades}{q-Diamonds}, and the jack kicker played for Martin to send a big pot his way.

Chen Doubles Through Badziakouski

Niveau 17 : 3,500/7,000, 850 ante

Peter Chen shoved his final 71,000 into the middle holding {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}, and overall chip leader Mikita Badziakouski put him at risk holding {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. The five would hold up on the {9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop, but the {a-Diamonds} on the turn quickly flipped the script.

Badziakouski would need one of the two remaining fives to win now, but a three came instead, giving Chen a nice double up.

Hrabec Gets Lucky for a Knockout

Niveau 16 : 3,000/6,000, 700 ante

Wiktor Malinowski looked to be in great shape to double up to nearly 200,000, when he held {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} against the {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} held by Roman Hrabec. The flop of {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades} gave Hrabec some extra outs, as did the {j-Clubs} on the turn.An eight, seven, or club would get the job done now, and the {8-Diamonds} came on the river to give Hrabec a big pot.
