Jesse Fullen

Facing a bet of 400 from the under-the-gun player, PokerNews' Jesse Fullen moved all-in from the big blind for his opponent's remaining 12,200 chips. The opponent called, and two players turned over their cards.

Fullen: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Opponent: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}

It was the classic cooler of aces versus kings, and when the board ran out clean Fullen knocked out a player early on Day 1. Fullen is up to 41,800.

Amoroso Busts a Player in First Hand

Niveau 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

Austin Amoroso said he had just sat down at his table when this action transpired in his first hand of the day.

Amoroso raised to 800 preflop and got two callers. The flop was {9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. He bet 3000 and both players called. The turn was the {q-Clubs} and after he put out a bet of 6,300, both players called again. The {6-Clubs} hit the river and Amoroso jammed all-in. One opponent called for his remaining 10,300 chips while the other player folded.

Amoroso showed {q-Hearts}{q-Spades} for a full house; his opponent mucked and got up from his seat. Amoroso now has more than double his starting stack after the first hand he's played today.
