Day 1 of WSOP Event #12: $1,500 Limit Hold'em has come to a conclusion. The event drew a field of 422 entries for a total prize pool of $563,370. The 133 survivors will be returning for Day 2 on Wednesday, October 6th at 2 p.m. local time, where they are scheduled to play ten 60-minute levels.

Jeremy Maher bagged the Day 1 chip lead and will head to the second day with a healthy stack of 226,000 with Anthony Zinno (217,500) close on his tail. A selection of the other notable stacks heading into Day 2 include Aldon Patatanyan (190,000), Mori Eskandani (173,500), Yuval Bronshtein (141,500), and Barry Greenstein (86,500).

However, not all players were fortunate enough to make it to another day. Some of the players who fell short of bagging a stack include Daniel Negreanu, Shaun Deeb, Allen Kessler, Adam Friedman, and reigning champion David “ODB” Baker.

Day 2 will restart at 2 p.m. local time and a total of 64 players will be in the money, with a min-cash being worth $2,406. The remaining players will also inch closer to determining a winner who will take home $124,374 in addition to the shiny gold bracelet.
