Two of the shorter stacks were doing battle in a critical hand for both players' tournaments. Seventh street was dealt and Hal Rotholz bet, Brendan Hite called and saw the bad news as Rotholz reveal a pair in the hole to add to the jacks for the winning two pair.
Hite could not beat that and mucked his hand to leave himself very short and he would be eliminated not long afterwards.
