Day 1 of Event #15: $1,500 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em has come to a conclusion. Attracting a field of 1,450, there were only 96 bagging for Day 2 restart and some well-known players were among them. Such as Melanie Weisner (467,000), Upeshka De Silva (452,000) and Darren Elias (265,000).

The 1,450 players generated a prize pool of $1,935,750 and a total of 218 entries reached the minimum payout of $2,402. The 96 remaining players will be guaranteed a payout of at least $3,153 and will be contending for the first-place prize of $313,403 and the World Series of Poker Gold Bracelet.

It was Daniel Orgil with the top stack at the end of the night bagging an impressive chip lead with 1,650,000. Just as the night was wrapping up he played an insanely large pot against two all-in players, one being at risk for almost half a million in chips and his pocket aces held up against both opponents to pull in a pot well over 1,000,000 in chips.

Not all players were fortunate to find a bag at the end of the day though as some fell short such as: Vanessa Kade, Tony Dunst, Lexy Gavin and Kelly Minkin.

Day 2 begins on Friday, October 8th at 12:00 PM which will have blind levels of 60-minutes. There will be a 15-minute break after every 2 levels and a 60-minute dinner break after level 23 (~6:30 PM). There will be a total of 10 levels played before the remaining players' bag for the final table on Day 3.

Stay tuned to Pokernews throughout all of Day 2 for updates.
