Nate Silver raised on the button and John Monnette called from the big blind. The flop came and Monnette checked to Silver who bet. Monnette check-raised which allowed Silver to three-bet. Monnette just called and the landed on the turn.
Monnette led out with a bet and Silver raised. Monnette re-raised and Silver found himself all in for 390,000 on the turn.
Monnette held two pair and the larger of the two flush draws. Silver had just two outs in the deck and the on the river was not one of them. Monnette held on for the win and Silver was forced to settle for second place.
