Polydoros Eliminated by Becker

Niveau 11 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Nick Polydoros was at risk for the last 4,500 and picked up some action behind as Andony Wasaya reraised and Johannes Becker four-bet to 9,500, which Wasaya called. Polydoros discarded two cards and his two opponents drew one. Both active players checked Polydoros took two, his two opponents one each. Becker now bet and Wasaya called once more.

Becker then patted on the final draw while his two opponents discarded one each. Becker bet and that shut down Wasaya.

The German revealed {9-}{8-}{7-}{4-}{3-} and Polydoros sweated his {8-}{7-}{4-}{2-} draw. However, the final card was a {j-} and that spelled the end for Polydoros.

Bunch Adds a Bunch with a Nut Badugi Against Negreanu and Wasaya

Niveau 11 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Badugi

It was Daniel Negreanu that stood pat and bet out on the first draw. Andomy Wasaya and John Bunch each drew two cards and called.

The second draw Negreanu stood pat and fired out a bet once again. This time his opponents had drawn a single card a piece. Wasaya called the bet and Bunch raised. This sent Negreanu into the tank for a short time, but he decided to fold his hand and Wasaya called.

The third and final draw saw Bunch stand pat and Wasaya drew one. Wasaya checked and Bunch fired out a bet. Wasaya wasted no time and called. Bunch tabled {a-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades} for a nut Badugi and that sent Wasaya's cards into the muck.

A-5 Triple Draw

There were two open seats and Venkata Tayi stormed into a big stack after having knocked out Steve Zolotow and Colin Maneval. Nicholas Julia was also involved in the hand but the six-five of Tayi won it all as the cards were all but mashed together.

Tayi then won a pot off Frank Kassela to leave the latter with a single T-5,000 chip. Mike Gorodinsky arrived and raised, Kassela called all-in and Tayi called as well. Gorodinsky discard two cards, Kasella three and Tayi patted.

"That means there are a lot of good cards in the deck," Kasella joked. One more bet each went in between Gorodinsky and Tayi but the former then folded. Tayi patted once more and Kasella took one more card to reveal {a-}{6-}{5-}{3-} first. "Am I live?" he asked and peeled the {2-} to get there, as Tayi briefly exposed the {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{a-}.

The previous hand was described as a blood bath by Julia, by the way.
