In a battle of the blinds, Aaron Rogers and Carlos Rodriguez took two cards each and Rogers bet, Rodriguez raised and earned a call. Rogers then patted and Rodriguez took one card. They checked and the same action repeated on the final draw. Rogers check-called a bet of Rodriguez, who had just two full bets behind.

Rodriguez tabled and Rogers tapped the table in defeat.

One hand after losing most of his stack to Jason Daly, Michael Trivett called after a raise from Brian Yoon and a call from Venkata Tayi.

The call committed Trivett's last 35,000 chips. Yoon and Tayi checked down to the final street, where Yoon bet and Trivett folded.

Yoon's took down the pot, and Trivett left the tournament with a ninth-place finish for $8,582.
