Hrabec Takes it Down on the River

Niveau 9 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Roman Hrabec raised in early position to 30,000, Daniel Weinman called in the cutoff, and the big blind defended.

On a flop of {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades}, all three players checked. The turn was the {a-Spades}, the big blind checked to Hrabec and he put in a bet of 45,000. Only Weinman called.

On the {6-Diamonds} river, Hrabec put in a larger bet of 135,000. Weinman took a few moments to think it over and ultimately decided to throw his hand into the muck.

On a board of {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds}, Huy Lam check-called a bet of 80,000.

The dealer dropped the {10-Diamonds} on the river and Lam decided to take the lead, firing out a bet of 130,000. His opponent called quickly and Lam tabled the {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} for a turned set of nines.

Ruzicka Gets Big Stack With Knock Out

Niveau 9 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Vojtech Ruzicka and an opponent got all in before the flop. Ruzicka had {k-Hearts}{q-Spades} and was up against {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}.

The {7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{a-Clubs} flop helped neither player, but Ruzicka hit a pair of kings on the {k-Clubs} turn. His opponent paired his jack on the {j-Hearts} river, but it wasn't enough as the former November Niner now has an above-average stack.

Gostisa Sends Binnie to the Rail, Doubles Through Anderson

Niveau 9 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Courtney Binnie
Courtney Binnie

Courtney Binnie opened the pot with a raise from the button before Calvin Anderson three-bet to 125,000 from the small blind. In the big blind, Rok Gostisa shoved the rest of his stack in the middle and both Binnie and Anderson called. Binnie had the shortest of the three stacks, while Anderson had Gostisa covered.

Courtney Binnie: {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Rok Gostisa: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Calvin Anderson: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

With poker vlogger "Greg Goes All In" filming Binnie from the rail, the {7-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop gave her top pair and some hope, but that was dashed when Gostisa made a set on the {q-Spades} turn. The river helped neither Binnie or Anderson, and Gostisa knocked out Binnie and doubled up through Anderson.

Anderson was eliminated a few hands later.

Towson Fires Three Times

Niveau 10 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

David Towson raised to 40,000 in the hijack, Alex Epstein called on the button and the big blind defended.

The dealer fanned a flop of {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades} and after the big blind checked Towson continued for 60,000 and only Epstein made the call.

The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and Towson fired again, this time for 175,000 and Epstein called.

On the {q-Spades} river, Towson took a couple of extra seconds before deciding to put in a bet for the third time of 300,000. Epstein went deep into the tank, and said aloud, "You really have kings?." After another minute or so Epstein aguishly threw his hand into the muck.

Bierria Has a Monster Stack as Two Players Bust

Niveau 10 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Corey Bierria with {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} had an opponent all in with {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}. Bierria flopped a set on a {q-Spades}{3-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop, the {6-Hearts} turn gave his opponent some hope of a miracle run-out, but the {2-Diamonds} river sealed the knockout as Bierria took the tournament chip lead.

"Right place, right time," Bierria said as he stacked 1,800,000.

On the next hand at this table, John Lyons shoved his short-stack with {10-Hearts}{5-Spades} against D.J. Alexander with {a-Spades}{6-Clubs}. Lyons missed the {a-Hearts}{4-Spades}{6-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs} board and was sent to the rail.
