Simeone Hits the River to Double

Korey Simeone, who calls himself "the biggest idiot in poker," was all in with {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and doubled up right before dinner break by hitting a flush on the river with the board showing {9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}.

"Giving hope to morons everywhere," Simeone said. He was all in for 33,800.

On the last hand, Kumar bet 20,000 on the river with the board showing {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Azzaro called. Kumar turned over {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}.

"Is that a set? A set is good," said Azzaro, saying he had {a-}{q-}.
