Lamora Bets Big On The River

Niveau 4 : 300/600, 600 ante

In a three-way pot on a flop reading {q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{7-Spades} Brandon Lamora bet from the hijack 2,600, which was then raised by the big blind to 9,000. Lamora made the call.

The turn came a {2-Diamonds} and the big blind bet 15,000, which Lamora called.

The river was a {6-Spades} and the big blind checked. Lamora bet 26,600 and sent his opponent into the tank. After two minutes of thought, the clock was called, and after about 30 seconds longer, the big blind folded and Lamora took down the pot.

Jason Wheeler
Jason Wheeler

After Jason Wheeler three-bet preflop to 4,000 and got one caller, a flop was seen of {2-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{9-Hearts}.

It was checked to Wheeler, who bet 2,500, and that was called by his opponent.

The turn brought a {3-Hearts} and the action checked to Wheeler who bet 6,000. He was called once more.

The river was an {8-Spades}, and the action checked once again to Wheeler who decided to bet 10,000. His opponent called, and Wheeler showed down {a-}{a-}, which was good enough against {a-}{k-}

Hall Flops Flush and Ousts Hawkins

Niveau 4 : 300/600, 600 ante
Adrianne Hall
Adrianne Hall

According to Adrianne Hall, who kindly provided a recap, Maurice Hawkins raised to 1,000 preflop and got several callers including Hall. The flop was {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Hall put out a bet of 3,000 which Hawkins raised to 10,000. Hall called and they saw a turn.

The turn brought the {7-Diamonds}, and after some raises, both players moved all-in. Hall had {j-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for the second-nut flush and Hawkins' hand was unknown but wasn't good enough for the pot.

The {2-Spades} river changed nothing, and Hawkins was left with one chip which was lost shortly after, as Hall chipped up.
