Naets Finds a Suck Out to Double

Niveau 14 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

The player under-the-gun raised to 20,000 and the action folded around to Sylvain Naets who moved all-in for 59,000. The big blind folded quickly and the original raiser who had him covered made the call.

Sylvain Naets: {a-Hearts}{2-Spades}
Under-the-gun: {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

Naets was dominated with his ace-high and the flop was no help when it came {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. The {5-Hearts} fell on the turn, giving Naets a gutshot to go along with his pair draw. The river was exactly what he was looking for when the {4-Diamonds} landed, giving him the full double up.

Pratt's Big Slick Claims a Victim

Niveau 14 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

A player in the small blind was all in preflop for about 65,000 against Denise Pratt.

Small Blind: {a-}{6-}
Denise Pratt: {a-}{k-}

The flop was {q-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades}, the turn brought the {4-Hearts} for a sweat, but the {9-Clubs} completed the board to eliminate the small blind player and chip up Pratt to over 300,000.

Death By Quads

Niveau 14 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Zach Beardsell was just barely covering a player that was all in and at risk. The hands were flipped over.

All in player: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Zach Beardsell: {a-Hearts}{5-Spades}

The flop had the kings drawing thin with {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{a-Spades} but the turn {a-Diamonds} sealed it and the player was drawing dead before the {4-Spades} river.

Vo Puts his Opponent Into the Tank

Niveau 14 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

In a four-way flop of {5-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{6-Spades}, there was roughly 60,000 in the middle and the action checked to the button, who put in a bet of 21,000. The action folded its way back to Viet Vo in the big blind, and he made the call to get them heads up to the turn.

When the {j-Spades} hit the turn Vo checked once more, and his opponent fired in a bet of 39,000. It didn't take long for Vo to raise him to 91,000, with only about 24,000 behind. The button player, who had him covered, went deep into the tank and after roughly a minute and a half, the clock was called. The floor was called, but the button player didn't need to wait for the floor to make the decision, and ultimately decided to throw his cards into the muck.

As the pot was being shipped to Vo, he tabled the {2-Spades} and mucked his second card.

Heath Busts

Niveau 13 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Gerald Heath was leaving the tournament area, but he briefly explained the situation in which he got knocked out.

Heath had gotten his remaining chips in the middle on a {9-}{9-}{3-} with {7-}{7-} and was called by a flush draw. The flush completed on the turn and Heath could not hit one of the two remaining nines or sevens to stay alive.

Heath is likely to re-enter tomorrow for the final entry day.

Treasure Splits the Treasure as Cowboys are Beat

Niveau 13 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

On a flop of {8-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts} a player in early position had jammed for 77,000 and was waiting on a decision by the button, and Matt Treasure in the big blind who was still in the pot.

The early position player played with fate and exclaimed, "Count me out. I'm outta here boys. Put that on the PokerNews. Walk of shame."

After some further talking from the all-in player, the button player ultimately decided to call. Treasure jammed in his stack for more and before the button player could act, the early position player announced, "Kings!" before the table stopped him from flipping over his cards, perhaps unaware there was still more action. It didn't appear to matter though as the button player still made the call he was presented with.

Early Position: {k-}{k-}
Matt Treasure: {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Button: {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}

The cowboys were ahead but the {j-Clubs} spiked the turn to give the other two players a straight. The {8-Hearts} completed the board and the early position player was eliminated and was forced to undergo the dreaded walk of shame, while Treasure and the button player chopped the pot.

Delaney Scoops A Monster

Niveau 13 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

A player from early position was all in for 50,000 to which Donald Delaney in the small blind and another player in the big blind called.

The flop of {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} was checked through as well as the turn of {2-Spades}.

The river came a {3-Hearts} and Delaney went all in to get snap-called by the big blind.

At risk player: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}
Donald Delaney: {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
Big Blind: {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}

The early position left the tournament area, while Delaney scooped one of the biggest pots of the tournament, thanks to his opponent hitting a three for a lesser full house.

Double Knockout For Valentzas

Niveau 13 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Table 465 had two empty seats and the tablemates were able to fill in on what happened.

Nicholas Valentzas limped under the gun and two stacks behind went all in for 37,000 and 53,000. Valentzas made the call.

First at risk player:{a-}{3-}
Second at risk player: {9-}{9-}
Nicholas Valentzas: {j-}{j-}

The flop of {5-}{5-}{3-} gave the first player additional outs, but the turn {j-} left both players drawing dead as Valentzas climbed to over 400,000
