Montgomery Makes a Flush

Niveau 21 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Dylan Linde raised under the gun to 60,000 and Kyle Montgomery defended his big blind to see a flop. The board showed {6-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} when Montgomery check-called for 40,000, and Linde saw his bet of 160,000 called on the {5-Clubs} turn. Both players checked the {2-Diamonds} river, and Montgomery turned over {k-Spades}{10-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for a flush as Linde mucked.

Nader Younes
Nader Younes

Jonathan Witz opened to 80,000 and Nader Younes raised all-in for 295,000. Witz called.

Nader Younes: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}
Jonathan Witz: {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}

The board ran out {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, giving Younes a double-up and putting another dent into the chip leader's "Wall of Witz"

Yanovski Doubles Through Zack

Niveau 21 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

On a flop of {7-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, Daniel Zack checked to Leonid Yanovski, who bet 50,000. Zack responded with a pot-sized check-raise, and Yanovski put in the rest of his stack.

Leonid Yanovski: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{3-Spades}
Daniel Zack: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}

Zack was ahead with his top pair, but Yanovski had flush draws and two kings left in the deck. One of those kings appeared on the turn in the {k-Clubs}, followed by the {j-Spades} on the river to double up Yanovski.

Yanovski Chips Up Further

Niveau 21 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Leonid Yanovski tanked for a short period and Arthur Morris was about to call the clock on him. Yanovski then raised and claimed the blinds and big blind ante. Up next, Mike Matusow raised and folded when Yanovski potted.

"I had king, jack, jack, nine double suit, that was the best hand in three levels for me," Matusow mentioned in table chat.

Witz Rebuilds Via Elezra

Niveau 21 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Jonathan Witz had seen his stack dip below two million recently, but he got some back in a recent hand with Eli Elezra.

On a flop of {5-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, Elezra led out for 50,000 from the big blind. Witz called in early position.

The turn brought the {j-Clubs}, and Elezra bet 150,000. Witz then raised the size of the pot (700,000), which would be enough to put Elezra all-in.

Elezra opted to fold and preserve his last 550,000 chips, while Witz creeps back toward two million as stacks have tightened at table 421.

Ausmus Pulls Ahead of Witz

Niveau 21 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Three ways to the {8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop with 110,000 each invested, Jeremy Ausmus in the big blind and Eli Elezra in the hijack checked. Jonathan Witz bet the pot for 365,000 in the cutoff and Ausmus then reraised the pot for 1.46 million. That represented essentially his entire stack and Elezra snap-folded.

Witz mulled over his decision for a while and came to the same conclusion, tapped the table and sent his cards into the muck.

Nader Younes Eliminated in 18th Place ($23,806)

Niveau 21 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Nader Younes
Nader Younes

Nader Younes raised to 75,000 from early position and got a call from Jonathan Witz in the big blind.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Spades}, and Witz checked to Younes who bet the pot. Witz quickly check-raised the pot to put Younes all-in, and Younes called.

Nader Younes: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts}
Jonathan Witz: {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}

Witz was ahead of Younes' aces with his two pair, kings and deuces.

The {2-Hearts} filled Witz up on the turn, and the {4-Diamonds} sealed Younes' fate in 18th place.

Mike Matusow Eliminated in 17th Place ($23,806)

Mike Matusow
Mike Matusow

Following an open raise by Tommy Le and a call by Mike Matusow, they got it in after the {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop with Matusow as the player at risk.

Mike Matusow: {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Tommy Le: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

"Fade one time," Matusow exclaimed and he remained ahead on the {j-Clubs} turn. However, the {k-Hearts} river gave Le the nut flush and Matusow was eliminated in 17th place for $23,806. All remaining 16 players will now redraw to the final two tables.

Mike Krasienko raised on the button, and Chris Sandrock three-bet in the small blind. Krasienko then moved all-in and Sandrock quickly called.

Mike Krasienko: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Chris Sandrock: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

Krasienko was trailing Sandrock's aces, and remained behind on the {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop. The turn {6-Clubs} and river {4-Spades} changed nothing, and Krasienko headed to the payout table in 16th place.
