Porter Finds the Fold Against Alvarez

Niveau 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

The action was discovered on a board of {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{q-Spades}{a-Spades} and John Alvarez had re-raised Rep Porter all-in and that sent Porter deep into the tank. After a few minutes, Porter found the fold and Alvarez was awarded the pot.

Afterward, Alvarez claimed that it was a good fold as he was holding the {k-Spades}{j-Spades}.

"If I Bet, Just Go On Break"

Niveau 6 : 300/600, 600 ante
Eli Elezra
Eli Elezra

On the final hand before the break, Liz Lynch raised in early position, then everyone else got up for break except Eli Elezra in the big blind.

Before the flop came down Elezra said "If I bet, just go on break", and then fired out 2,000 before the cards hit the table.

The dealer spread {2-Spades}{j-Spades}{q-Hearts}, and Lynch quickly called.

Before the turn card was dealt, again Elezra said, "If I bet, just go on break", and then he fired out another 4,000 dark.

The dealer put out the {2-Diamonds}, and again Lynch called.

Once more before the river, Elezra repeated, "If I bet, just go on break", and tossed out another 4,000 dark.

The dealer put out the {9-Hearts}, and one more time without much hesitation, Lynch called.

Elezra showed he had actually made a strong top pair with {k-Spades}{q-Spades}. Lynch however showed {a-Hearts}{a-Spades} to take the pot.

Aldridge Enjoying Himself in the Seniors Championship

Niveau 6 : 300/600, 600 ante
Ken Aldridge
Ken Aldridge

The pot was picked up on the flop of {8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Ken Aldridge bet 1,500 which was enough to take the pot down.

Aldridge is known for being a Bracelet winner and the bright yellow clothes he likes to wear but Aldridge is also one of the nicest people in Poker.

Today, he walked into the Seniors Championship with bags full of Chick-fil-A sandwiches asking our PokerNews crew what kind we wanted "spicy or regular."

It's not all seriousness in today's Seniors Championship and one of the good guys in poker is just having a great time.

Marshall Spikes a Straight

Niveau 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

Mike Marshall faced an all-in bet pre-flop from his opponent and made the call.

The players were flipping as Marshall held {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} versus the pocket {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} of his opponent.

The dealer flopped the {9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Marshall still trailed.

The turn card was the {j-Spades} and gave Marshall extra hope.

The river {10-Clubs} was one of those extra hopes, and Marshall locked up the hand with a king-high straight and chipped up to 35,000.

The dealer spread the flop of {2-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Martinez remained in the lead.

The turn card was the {j-Spades} and changed nothing.

The river was the {5-Hearts} and that sealed the deal for Martinez and his ace-high and he chipped up to 38,000.
