Matthew Wantman Eliminated in 11th Place ($79,631)

Niveau 24 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Matthew Wantman
Matthew Wantman

Matthew Wantman raised it up from early position and Tommy Le three-bet from the blinds. Wantman moved in the last of his chips for around 700,000 and Le quickly called.

Matthew Wantman: {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Tommy Le: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

The flop came {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} to give Le trip sixes and a flush draw. The {j-Hearts} on the turn improved Le to a flush but Wantman still had a few outs to a full house. The {7-Clubs} on the river was not enough and Wantman exited in 11th place.

Lamb Doubles Through Lau

Niveau 24 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Ben Lamb's early position raise was called by Ka Kwan Lau to the {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop. Lamb continued with a pot-sized bet of 510,000 to see Lau instantly check-raise all-in. Lamb called and the cards were turned up.

Ben Lamb: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Spades}
Ka Kwan Lau: {q-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

Lamb was behind Lau's two paur and asked the dealer for "high cards", which he got on the {k-Diamonds} turn and {a-Hearts} river. Lamb's straight was good to double up and recover some chips from Lau.

Nathan Zimnik Eliminated in 10th Place ($79,631)

Niveau 24 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Nathan Zimnik
Nathan Zimnik

From the cutoff Nathan Zimnik raised, John Beauprez three-bet to the size of the pot from the big blind and Zimnik called.

The flop came {3-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. Beauprez bet the pot and Zimnik called putting himself all in.

It was another aces vs kings situation as things looked very grim for Zimnik as he was behind holding the {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{7-Spades} while Beauprez had the {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}.

The turn was the {2-Clubs} to leave Zimnik drawing dead as the river was a meaningless {q-Diamonds} to bring the field to the final table.

Tommy Le Eliminated in 9th Place ($97,254)

Tommy Le

Ka Kwan Lau raised on the button and Tommy Le defended his big blind to a {j-Spades}{9-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop. Both players checked to the {6-Hearts} turn, and Le led out with a pot-sized bet of 510,000. Lau then raised enough to put Le all in, and Le went into the tank. After a few minutes of deliberation, Le made the call and was at risk.

Tommy Le: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Ka Kwan Lau: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}

Lau was ahead with two pair, and Le missed his draws on the {7-Hearts} river to end another deep PLO run in 9th place.

Charles Sinn raised to 210,000 from under the gun, It folded around to Maxx Coleman in the big blind who called.

The flop came {k-Clubs}{2-Spades}{a-Clubs}. Coleman check-called a bet of 250,000.

The turn was the {j-Clubs}. Coleman led out with a bet of 450,000. Sinn thought and ruffled his chips for quite a while before betting the pot, Coleman raised all in and Sinn called quickly.

Sinn had flopped a set of aces with the {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{j-Hearts}{7-Clubs} but was up against the flush of Coleman who had the {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}.

The river would not find any full house outs as the {4-Hearts} came off and just like that Sinn was gone in eighth place.

Beauprez Flops a Full House

Niveau 25 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

John Beauprez raised to 200,000 and was called by Ka Kwan Lau in middle position, with both players seeing the {k-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop. Beauprez continued for 175,000 and Lau called to the {5-Hearts} turn. This time Beauprez check-called Lau's bet of 650,000, and the {a-Spades} river completed the runout. Beauprez led out for 600,000 and revealed {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{2-Spades} for a flopped full house after Lau called. Lau flashed {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for a full house of his own, and mucked the rest of his hand.
