Brett Apter Eliminated in 26th Place ($10,855)

Niveau 35 : 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante
Brett Apter
Brett Apter

Eric Kim opened to 1,200,000 from the hijack and Brett Apter shoved all in for 3,700,000 on the button. The blinds folded and Kim quickly called to put Apter at risk.

Brett Apter: {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Eric Kim: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Kim held a dominating advantage going to the flop of {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. The {a-Hearts} on the turn and the {6-Spades} on the river left both players with a pair of aces but Kim held the better kicker.

Michael Lee opened to 2,000,000 and Hoan Nguyen chose to push all in from one of the blinds for 6,450,000. After some consideration, Lee made the call for the following showdown

Choi Claims Another One

Niveau 35 : 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante

Inkyu Choi opened to 1,100,000 in early position and Ryan Johal ripped all in for 6,025,000 in the big blind. Choi asked for a count and thought it over for a moment before making the call.

Ryan Johal: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Inkyu Choi: {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Choi's heater was not about to come to an end after hitting a pair on the {k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop. The {k-Clubs} paired the board on the turn and the {2-Clubs} on the river improved Choi to a full house.

Kliper Finds a Double Up on Tamasauskas

Niveau 34 : 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

The flop showed {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} with a pot already containing around 5,000,000 when Arie Kliper moved all in for a stack around 9,000,000 and Vladas Tamasauskas made the call.

Arie Kliper: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}
Vladas Tamasauskas: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Kliper had an open-ended straight draw but was up against the set of tens for Tamasauskas.

The {j-Hearts} appeared on the turn, giving the straight to Kliper who took down the big pot after the {4-Hearts} completed the board.

Choi Scores a Huge Double Knockout

Niveau 34 : 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

Jacob Thibodeau pushed all in for a little over 6,000,000 from under the gun and Inkyu Choi re-shoved all in from the small blind. Elad Kubi was in the big blind with just shy of 10,000,000 and called off the rest of his stack as well.

Jacob Thibodeau: {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Elad Kubi: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Inkyu Choi: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The flop of {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{2-Clubs} provided a little bit for everyone. Choi flopped top set, Kubi held a straight draw, and Thibodeau had an open-ended straight draw with a flush draw. The {3-Diamonds} and {2-Diamonds} runout bricked everything and Choi held on to eliminate both opponents.
