The action folded to the player on the button who moved all-in for about 40,000. It folded back to Tran who said, "I have ace-king, I call."

The {q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop got checked by both players and the {7-Diamonds} fell on the turn. Konnikova fired out a bet of 2,000 and that was enough for her opponent to surrender the pot.

Valdez Makes the Maximum with Flopped Straight

Beto Valdez raised under the gun to 1,600 and the player on his left three-bet to 5,100. The action folded back around to Valdez and he made the call.

The dealer spread a flop of {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and Valdez check-called a bet of 5,500.

The turn was the {k-Clubs} and Valdez check-raised his opponents bet of 5,500 to 20,000. The opponent called and Valdez shoved the rest of his stack in before the river was exposed.

The {k-Hearts} landed on the river and his opponent instantly called off his remaining stack of approximately 18,000. The opponent rolled over {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} for trip kings and Valdez showed the bad news when he showed {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for a flopped straight.
