Schwartz Finds Value

Niveau 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Jake Schwartz
Jake Schwartz

Jake Schwartz raised to 15,000 from the cutoff and an opponent called him from the big blind.

The flop came down {k-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and the big blind check-called a bet of 11,000 from Schwartz.

The turn of {3-Clubs} was checked through to the {2-Spades} river where the opponent bet 15,000.

Schwartz thought briefly before putting in a raise to 33,000, which had his opponent shaking his head but tossing in the call anyway.

"King-seven," Schwartz declared while flipping up his hand {k-Spades}{7-Diamonds}, which was better than the opponent's {k-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}.

Melanie Weisner
Melanie Weisner

Melanie Weisner was involved in a hand in which the pot was already over 30,000 on a flop of {2-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and it was checked to the turn.

The {a-Diamonds} saw Weisner's opponent bet 14,000 from the big blind, which Weisner quickly called. The river was {9-Clubs} and the big blind bet 25,000.

Weisner thought about it briefly before she raised to 75,000 and her opponent mucked as she won the pot without a showdown.
