Fatigue Leads to Costly Calls, Hoang Doubles
On third street, Peder Berge brought in, and John Hoang limped behind.
Hoang then led out on fourth and fifth streets, with Berge calling on each.
On sixth street, Hoang bet again, leaving himself just 210,000 behind, less than one big bet. Berge somewhat lackadaisically put forward a call.
"Just call?" Asked Hoang.
"Yeah, I don't wanna put you in", replied Berge.
Before seventh street was dealt, Hoang bet his last 210,000 dark, and Berge turned up his cards, showing for a pair of jacks.
Hoang questioned whether Berge was calling, to which Berge said, "sure, yeah" and cut out the 210,000.
Hoang immediately showed for two pair, kings and sixes.
As Berge's chips were pushed to Hoang, Berge muttered to himself "that was stupid."
