Turner's Snow Turns to Gold

Niveau 13
Jon Turner
Jon Turner

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Jon Turner just eliminated Christopher Vitch with a vicious suckout in the game that continues to provide plenty of carnage in this tournament.

According to Turner, he raised from the small blind to 6,000 into Vitch's big blind. Vitch called.

Turner drew two cards while Vitch drew three. Turner then continued with another bet for 10,000, and again Vitch called.

On the second draw, Turner still needed two while Vitch only needed one card. Turner opted to check, and Vitch bet 23,000. Turner then check-raised enough to put Vitch all-in for about 70,000. Vitch called.

The jig was up for Turner who said he had seen three deuces and three threes at that point and went for the snow. He however now needed to draw two to his {5-}{3-}{2-}. Vitch showed {8-}{7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}, which was way ahead of Turner's two-card draw.

That is until Turner magically pulled a {7-} and a {4-} to drill a wheel, eliminating Vitch in crushing fashion.

Negreanu Eliminated In Massive Triple Draw Pot

Niveau 12
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Daniel Negreanu was all-in for approximately 60,000 pre-draws with Dominik Baud who was all-in for about the same. They were both covered by Anthony Ribeiro.

On the first draw, Ribeiro patted, Negreanu drew one and Baud drew one.

On the second draw, Ribeiro remained pat, but Negreanu and Baud also remained pat.

Baud seemed excited to turn over his hand and had to be warned by the dealer and the other players that another draw was still to come.

At this point, Ribeiro opted to break his hand and draw one, while Negreanu said he has seen Baud's hand and was still staying pat. Baud also stayed pat.

The hands were now revealed and Baud first showed {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}, to which Negreanu said that he thought he saw {8-}{7-}{6-} in Baud's hand, which is why he stayed pat. Negreanu could only show {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{2-} and was eliminated.

Ribeiro however was drawing to {7-}{6-}{5-}{2-}, saying he had also seen Baud's hand and broke an eight. He turned over a {3-}, to chop the pot with Baud and boost his stack toward 300,000.

Baker Doubles Through Coleman

Niveau 12
David "ODB" Baker
David "ODB" Baker

Pot-Limit Omaha 8 or Better

With three-way action to the {9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} flop, Maxx Coleman led into David "ODB" Baker and Scott Bohlman for 7,000. Baker called and Bohlman folded.

The turn brought the {q-Diamonds}, and again, Coleman led with a pot-sized bet of 28,000. Baker took some time then moved all-in for a little over 34,000. Coleman called.

David "ODB" Baker: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}
Maxx Coleman: {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

The {a-Clubs} fell on the river and Coleman's heart and straight draws couldn't get there, giving Baker the pot with his two pair, aces and jacks.
