Easdon's Top Two is Good

Niveau 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

On a flop of {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{9-Diamonds} there were three players in the hand. The player first to act checked to Matthew Easdon who fired out a bet of 3,100 and only the button called.

The turn was the {6-Clubs} and Easdon threw in another bet of 5,600. The button called once again.

The river was the {2-Clubs} and Easdon decided to slow down and check. His opponent ripped the rest of his stack into the middle, and Easdon called quickly. Easdon tabled the {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} for top two pair, and the opponent tabled {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for the top pair of aces. He was eliminated from the tournament.
