Soverel Jumps In

Sam Soverel, after busting the $250,000 Super High Roller less than an hour ago, is back in action in this tournament. On one of the first hands he was dealt, Soverel limped in from under the gun and Robert Mizrachi raised 2,000 from middle position.

Mizrachi continued for 1,100 on the {2-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop and Soverel called. Both players checked the {a-Hearts} turn before Soverel led out for 1,200 on the {10-Spades} river. Mizrachi quickly threw his hand into the muck.

Anthony Zinno has also joined the field for this event.

AP Garza was in late position and saw a flop of {7-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} against Noah Schwartz on the button and the big blind.

All three players checked on the flop, heading to the {2-Clubs} turn. Garza fired a bet of 8,000 and only Schwartz called.

Garza bet 13,000 on the {2-Hearts} river and Schwartz quickly called. Schwartz tabled the winner with {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds} for a full house and Garza mucked.

Amundsgard Spikes the River

Around 8,000 was already in the pot when four players saw a flop of {5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}. Ap Garza led out for 4,000 and was called by Ola Amundsgaard and Taehyoung Kim.

All three players checked the {q-Hearts} turn, then checked down the {j-Clubs} river. Amundsgaard showed {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{6-Spades} for the rivered set of jacks and Garza and Kim mucked.

Bujtas Pushes Around Mizrachi

Robert Mizrachi just took his seat in the tournament and got involved early, raising to 1,300 from the cutoff. Laszlo Bujtas called in the big blind and they went heads-up to a flop of {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}.

Bujtas led into Mizrachi with a bet of 2,400, and Mizrachi called. The turn came the {5-Clubs} and Bujtas led again, this time for 9,000. Mizrachi quickly folded to take an early small hit to his stack.

George Wolff in the small blind was in a heads-up pot against AP Garza on the button on a board reading {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}.

Wolff checked on the turn and called a bet of 2,500 from Garza. Wolff checked again on the {j-Clubs} turn and Garza checked back.

Wolff showed {q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for trip jacks and Garza mucked his hand.

Bujtas Flops Two Pair

Eric Kurtzman put in a re-raise to 19,500 preflop and Laszlo Bujtas called from the hijack. The flop came {4-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Kurtzman continued for another 17,500.

Bujtas called to see the {6-Diamonds} fall on the turn. Kurtzman checked, as did Bujtas. Both players also checked the {10-Diamonds} on the river.

Kurtzman showed {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} for a pair of aces, but Bujtas had him beat with {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for two pair, queens and eights, to take the sizeable pot.
