Event #87: $100,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em Begins at 3 p.m.
It is time for the start of one of the premier events of the 2021 WSOP as it winds to it’s conclusion with Day 1 of Event #87: $100,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold’em, starting at 3 p.m. local time.
It is the third high roller event in the last few days as the WSOP continues to offer some of the most exclusive No-Limit Hold’em events around. A $100,000 buy-in will give each player a 600,000 starting stack and players are allowed one re-entry should they chose to give it another shot. Registration is open until the start of Day 2 which is useful for any player still alive in Event #85: $50,000 No-Limit Hold’em who also wishes to fire into this event. This will be an 8-handed event.
This tournament is sure to attract some of the largest names in all of No-Limit Hold’em as they will look to pit their wits against one another yet again. Keith Tilston is the defending champion of this event as he won this event in 2019, besting a field of 99 to take home $2,792,406. He defeated Daniel Neagreanu heads up for the bracelet and topped a final table, which also included the likes of, Nick Schulman, Brandon Adams and Christoph Vogelsang.
