Krpan Sends One Out with Aces Full

Niveau 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

John Krpan raised in middle position to 1,300, the player on his left called, Dan Shak called in the small blind and Zachary Grech came along in the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and both Shak and Grech checked to Krpan who continued for 3,400. The player on his left called before Shak and Grech mucked their hands.

The {a-Diamonds} hit the turn and Krpan check-raised his opponent's bet of 7,200 to 20,800. The opponent thought about it for a few seconds before piling the rest of his stack in the middle. It was roughly 40,000 total and Krpan snap-called.

Opponent: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}
John Krpan: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

Krpan had turned top set while his opponent turned top two and the {3-Hearts} completed the board for Krpan to send his opponent to the rail.

A series of preflop raises saw Ye Yuan get his 28,000 stack in the middle from the hijack and Michael Parisi called from the cutoff.

Ye Yuan: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Michael Parisi: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

Yuan didn't like what he saw as he stood up, watched the {10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} board runout and exited the tournament field.

[Removed:550] Back Over a Starting Stack

Niveau 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

A player opened to 1,200 from the cutoff and [Removed:532] three-bet to 3,500 on the button. Action folded back to the initial raiser, who called.

The cutoff check-called a 3,000 bet from [Removed:550] on the {j-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop and both players checked on the {7-Diamonds} turn.

The {9-Clubs} completed the board and the cutoff led out for 8,500. [Removed:550] called and his opponent tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} for kings and nines.

It was no good, however, against the {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades} of [Removed:550], who took down the pot with rivered trips.

Lavrov Catches Odumuyiwa Bluffing

Niveau 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

On the tail end of a board showing {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{8-Hearts}, Oluwasegun Odumuyiwa jammed for the last 14,300 and that sent Maksym Lavrov into a brief tank. He then called and Odumuyiwa tabled the {k-Spades}{j-Clubs} for a bluff gone wrong, which Lavrov had beat with the {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} for a set of nines.

"He was so tight before the break, you started him," Denys Chufarin said in table chat when leaning over to Blake Bohn.

Nash Wins Bigger Pot Off Sleeth

Niveau 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

On a three-way flop of {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs}, Leo Nash checked out of the big blind and Ashley Sleeth did so from a middle position. The player from one seat over then bet 2,000 and Nash called. Sleeth check-raised to 7,500 and received two calls. Only Nash check-called a bet worth 15,000 by Sleeth on the {10-Diamonds} turn and they checked the {6-Diamonds} on the river.

Nash flipped over the {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} for two pair and Sleeth mucked her cards, mentioning in table chat she had ace-try for inferior two pair.

Gathy Caught Bluffing

Niveau 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Craig Schauer checked the {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{8-Hearts} turn and then called a bet worth 11,000 by Michael Gathy. The next check by Schauer followed on the {4-Clubs} river and Gathy bet 25,000.

Schauer was in the tank for quite a while and then said "you put me in a tough spot there buddy." He didn't bow down, however, and made the call. Gathy showed {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for a bluff and Schauer won the pot with the {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}.

"Almost," Gathy said with a smile on the face.

"Mr. Humble" Doubles With a Boat

Niveau 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Thomas Midena was in a heads-up pot on a flop reading {8-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}. Midena bet on the flop and his opponent raised all in with Midena covered. Midena thought for a minute before calling off with 47,000.

Thomas Midena: {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Opponent: {k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

Midena was ahead with two pair while his opponent was on a flush draw. The turn brought the {a-Hearts} to give Midena a full house and the river brought a diamond with the {4-Diamonds} just to tease the opponent.

After Midena secured the double, table mate Eric Nathan took it upon himself to nickname Midena "Mr. Humble."

Midena seemed indifferent about the proposal.
