Claassen Chips Back Up Through Diebold

Niveau 23

Pot-Limit Omaha

Ben Diebold limped in the cutoff and Christopher Claassen checked his option in the big blind. On a flop of {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{9-Clubs}, Claassen check-raised from 30,000 to 90,000 and Diebold clicked it back to 210,000. That sent Claassen into the tank and he then called.

Both ended up checking down the {k-Spades} turn and {6-Diamonds} river for Claassen to win the pot with the {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} for trips queens.

Mike Gorodinsky then raised to 90,000 on the button the next hand and Diebold came along out of the big blind. The {9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop went check, check, and Diebold bet the {9-Spades} turn for what appeared to be 170,000. Gorodinsky didn't ask for the exact bet size, mulled it over for half a minute and folded.

The game type then changed and Gorodinsky told table neighbour Brian Rast "pot limit deuce baby, let's fuck!" Rast went through the plaques and selected Badugi.
