Galfond Eliminates Dzivielevski

Niveau 12

No-Limit Hold'em

With approximately 70,000 in the pot on a river board of {4-Clubs}{j-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, Phil Galfond checked to Yuri Dzivielevski, who moved all in for slightly less than Galfond's remaining 73,000.

Galfond made the call and turned over {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for top two pair.

Dzivielevski could only show {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}, for one pair of queens, sending the partypoker ambassador to the rail.

O'Hara Forces Fold From Volpe

Niveau 12

Big O

Three ways to the {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop, Ian O'Hara and Paul Volpe invested 12,000 each while Nacho Barbero folded. On the {2-Clubs} turn, O'Hara checked and then called a bet worth 32,000 by Volpe before leading the pot for 115,000 on the {6-Hearts} river.

With visibly shaking fingers, Volpe counted his investment thus far and tank-folded.

Big Stacks Battle for Blood

Niveau 12

Pot-Limit Triple Draw

In the game affectionately known by some of the players as simply "blood", two of the bigger stacks in the room just faced off.

David Benyamine raised to 8,000 in the cutoff and was called by Naoya Kihara in the big blind.

Kihara drew two while Benyamine drew one.

After Kihara checked, Benyamine continued for 13,000 more, which Kihara called.

Each player then drew just one, and this time it was Kihara leading out for 26,000. Benyamine gave his decision some brief thought, then tossed his cards into the muck.

While neither player there was too badly wounded, the same can't be said for Maxx Coleman and Jason Su, who were recently eliminated.

Miracle River Saves Lehr

Niveau 12

No-Limit Hold'em

After Matthew Schreiber raised to 6,000 in the hijack, Keith Lehr moved all in for 43,000. Schreiber reluctantly called and was in a race.

Matthew Schreiber: {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Keith Lehr: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

After a flop of {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{3-}, the turn brought Schreiber the help he needed in the {j-Spades}. The river however, brought Lehr a magical two-outer with the {9-Spades}, doubling him up and putting Schreiber on a short stack.

Schulman Scoops a Badeucey Pot

Niveau 11

Badeucey

On the final draw already, Nick Schulman patted while Jake Schwartz and Shaun Deeb took one card each. Schulman then bet and Schwartz called while Deeb folded.

Schulman rolled over the {7-Diamonds} / {8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} for an eighty-seven with an Eight-Dugi and that won the entire pot, as Schwartz sent his cards into the muck.
