Aido Doubles Through Tang

Niveau 7 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Sergio Aido raised to 20,000 in middle position and Stanley Tang shipped all in from the big blind. Aido was sitting on a stack of 188,000 and eventually called it off.

Sergio Aido: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Stanley Tang: {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The flop of {6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} left Aido in the lead with his ace-high. The {6-Spades} on the turn gave Tang a flush draw but the {a-Hearts} on the river ensured Aido of a double up.

Shak Spikes a Three-Outer to Double-Up

Niveau 6 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

The action folded around to Dan Shak on the button who open-shipped all in for 171,000. Erik Seidel woke up with a premium in the big blind and called.

Dan Shak: {a-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
Erik Seidel: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The flop came {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Seidel still held a dominating advantage over Shak. However, the {3-Hearts} on the turn gave Shak two pair and the lead. The {5-Hearts} on the river changed nothing and Shak earned a double up.

Niveau 6 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

There were a couple of preflop raises between Alex Foxen and Alexandros Theologis and the two players got all of the chips in the middle preflop with Foxen at risk for 200,000.

Alex Foxen: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Alexandros Theologis: {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

The flop came {10-Clubs}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Foxen still held the lead with his pair of eights. The {8-Diamonds} on the turn gave Theologis a straight but Foxen also made a full house, leaving the {k-Diamonds} on the river insignificant.

Badziakouski Leaves One Chip Behind

Niveau 6 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Mikita Badziakouski raised it up from early position and Sam Soverel re-raised to 84,000 from the big blind. Badziakouski called and they went heads-up to a flop of {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}.

Soverel checked to Badziakouski who bet 40,000 only to have Soverel check-raise to 133,000. Badziakouski called and the {j-Clubs} double-paired the board on the turn.

Soverel checked again and Badziakouski bet 100,000 this time. Soverel just called and the {3-Spades} landed on the river. Soverel checked once more and Badziakouski slid all but one chip forward, a bet of 136,000. Soverel looked disgusted as he leaned back in his chair and ultimately decided to fold.

Marius Gierse
Marius Gierse

In a bloated pot on a {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} completed board, Marius Gierse had bet in the small blind, Stephen Chidwick had all his chips already committed in the big blind, and Elio Fox had a decision in early position and ultimately folded.

Gierse showed {8-Spades}{7-Spades} for a straight to defeat Chidwick's {q-Spades}{9-Spades}, and Gierse continued his climb near the top of the leaderboard.
