Matt Woodward Eliminated in 22nd Place ($17,680)

Niveau 18 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante
Matt Woodward
Matt Woodward

Matt Woodward opened to 40,000 from the button before Daniel Zack made it 60,000 in the small blind. Woodward re-raised and Zack called.

Zack check-called bets on the flop and turn for the board to show the {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Zack bet the river and put Woodward in an uncomfortable spot.

"That's so f****** sick," commented Woodward, who had just 50,000 behind.

He eventually called and then mucked after seeing Zack had made a flush with his {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{5-Spades}.

The very next hand, Woodward was all-in and at risk of elimination against Alex Livingston.

Matt Woodward: {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Alex Livingston: {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}

Woodward's deep run came to an end following the {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{3-Spades} runout.

Jake Schwartz Eliminated in 23rd Place ($17,680)

Jake Schwartz
Jake Schwartz

Jake Schwartz raised to 40,000 in late position with 55,000 behind him, and Ray Dehkharghani called from the big blind.

On a {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop, the rest of Schwartz stack was in the middle

Jake Schwartz : {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Ray Dehkharghani : {6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}

Dehkharghani flopped a trip fours. The turn {9-Diamonds} and the river {k-Clubs} didn't help Schwartz, who was eliminated in 23rd place.

Jose Paz-Gutierrez

Jose Paz-Gutierrez moved all in for his last 25,000 from early position. Dustin Dirksen made it 40,000 on the button and Matt Vengrin called from the big blind.

Dirksen called a bet on the {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{10-Spades} flop before the {q-Hearts} river checked through. Vengrin bet 40,000 on the {4-Spades} river and then faced a raise from his opponent.

"This is so stupid, I know you have a full house," said Vengrin, who went deep into the tank. He eventually folded and Dirksen exposed his hand.

Dirksen did not have a full house after all, but had quad queens with his {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Jose Paz-Gutierrez exposed his {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} before heading out of the tournament area.

Bronshtein Keeps Climbing

Niveau 18 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Action was caught on the turn with a {6-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs} board. On the button, Connor Drinan bet and Yuval Bronshtein made the call from the small blind.

Both players checked the river {q-Diamonds} and when Bronshtein showed {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{6-Spades}{7-Diamonds}, for trip sixes on the turn, Drinan mucked.

Niveau 18 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Kosei Ichinose opened to 40,000 from the middle position before Freddy Deeb made it 60,000 on the button. Bart O'Connell called from the small blind and Ichinose matched the bet as well.

Action checked through on the {q-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop. Ichinose took the lead on the {8-Diamonds} turn and bet. Only O'Connell called.

Both players checked the {k-Hearts} river and Ichinose won the pot with his {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} (queens-up).

Niveau 18 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Damjan Radanov opened to 40,000 from the hijack and was only called by Daniel Chio from the button.

Chio called bets on the flop and turn for the board to show the {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{8-Spades}. Action checked through on the river and Radanov rolled over his {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} for a set of deuces and Chio mucked.

Yockey Takes From Drinan

Niveau 18 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

With over 250,000 in the pot on the {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} board, Connor Drinan checked in the big blind.

Bryce Yockey bet 40,000 and Drinan let out a sigh before putting in calling chips.

"Nuts," said Yockey, as he rolled over his {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{x-Diamonds} to scoop the pot.

Becker Loses Another One

Niveau 18 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Jake Liebeskind raised it to 40,000 from late position and Johannes Becker reraised to 60,000. Liebeskind called.

Liebeskind check-called the flop and turn for a final board of {8-Spades}{q-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. Liebeskind then bet on the river.

Becker quickly called to discover the bad news. Liebeskind had the {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts} making trips on the river as well as having the second-nut low to scoop.

Bad Start For Becker

Niveau 18 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Johannes Becker did not get the best start today; his stack is already down to 525,000.

On an earlier hand, he raised in late position and got reraised by Damjan Radanov from the button. He called.
Then Becker check/called three times as the board came {10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

Radanov showed {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} to scoop the pot thanks to Aces up and no possible low.
