Fabian Brandes

In the last hand before the break, Ayaz Mahmood limped in and Fabian Brandes raised the pot, which Jake Schindler and Mahmood called. On a flop of {7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}, Mahmood bet the pot and called the all-in of Brandes for 124,000 while Schindler let go.

Fabian Brandes: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{10-Spades}
Ayaz Mahmood: {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}

Mahmood had live cards but some of the outs vanished with the {q-Spades} turn, Brandes then also remained ahead on the {q-Diamonds} river to secure the double-up.

Brewer Eliminates Opponent

Niveau 12 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

On a {8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop, a player in early position was all-in for 66,500, Chris Brewer was all-in on the button for his stack of approximately 200,000, and Christopher Meyers already had two green T-25,000 over the betting line in the big blind and was making a decision. He eventually decided to send his cards into the muck.

Opponent: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Chris Brewer: {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}

The {10-Spades} and {6-Hearts} completed the board to miss all of the draws and keep Brewer in front with his pair of nines, and he chipped up.

Philip Long
Philip Long

The cards were already flipped over as Philip Long was all-in and at risk with the {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts}. He was up against the {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts} of Michael Rocco. On a board of {k-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}, Long prevailed with his superior two pair to stave off elimination.
