Niveau 15 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Only 80 players remain spread across the last ten tables and some of those who are no longer in contention can be found below.

Chidwick Takes From Arieh

Stephen Chidwick

With about 70,000 in the pot on a {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop, Josh Arieh checked in the big blind and Stephen Chidwick checked on the button. On the {5-Clubs} turn, Arieh led for 30,000, and Chidwick called.

The {j-Diamonds} completed the board and Arieh check-folded to a bet. Chidwick collected the pot against Arieh, although lately, the former's count has been trending down while the latter's count has been trending up.

Near Triple Up for Ausmus

Niveau 15 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Jeremy Ausmus
Jeremy Ausmus

In a bloated pot to the {j-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop, Erle Mankin pushed all-in for 195,000 in the big blind. Tommy Ly went deep into the tank and used all of his remaining time banks while not making any decision yet.

"Sir, when it reaches three minutes your hand is dead," the dealer told him and other players confirmed to Ly that he was about to run out of time.

The last time bank extension vanished shortly after and Ly folded while Jeremy Ausmus called all-in for the 52,000 he had behind on the button.

Jeremy Ausmus: {10-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Erle Mankin: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{j-Spades}

The {9-Diamonds} turn was of no help yet for Ausmus but he got there on the {2-Spades} river to secure the pot.

Perfilev Forces Out Coleman

Niveau 15 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Three ways to the {5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop, Dmitrii Perfilev bet 45,000 when checked to by David Coleman and Emmanuel Sebag. Only Coleman called and opted to check again the {j-Hearts} on the turn. Perfilev now fired a bet worth 262,000 for the size of the pot and Coleman sigh-folded with just shy of that behind.

Sebag Leads the Field for Now

Niveau 15 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Emmanuel Sebag appears to be the current chip leader by quite a margin as he has already accumulated around two million in chips. Among the big stacks is also Ben Lamb, who sits in the top five with more than one million in chips.

Further assorted counts and casualties can be found below.

Negreanu's Nut Flush Ousts Julia

Niveau 15 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Nicholas Julia
Nicholas Julia

Daniel Negreanu was seen raking in a pot as Nicholas Julia stood from his seat at the table.

The completed board showed {q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and Negreanu apparently had the nut flush to win the pot and add to his stack.

Kornuth Chipping Up

Niveau 15 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

On a {6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop with over 50,000 in the pot, Chance Kornuth led for 20,000 in the big blind and Philip Wiszowaty called in early position.

The {3-Clubs} fell on the turn, Kornuth led for 50,000, and Wiszowaty folded to concede the pot to the three-time bracelet winner.

Stein is Having a Ball

Niveau 15 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Sam Stein
Sam Stein

In a three-bet pot to the {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop, Sam Stein checked and Scott Ball bet 75,000. Stein then check-raised for the size of the pot and called all-in for 476,000 when Ball moved all-in with the covering stack.

Sam Stein: {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
Scott Ball: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{4-Spades}

The {q-Spades} turn and {10-Clubs} river runout only improved Stein to a superior straight and he secured the double to put a dent into the big stack of Ball.
