Friedman Firing on All Cylinders

Niveau 16
Adam Friedman
Adam Friedman

It's becoming the Adam Friedman show as the final level of today's event approaches, with the four-time bracelet winner extending his chip lead in a pair of recent hands.

First, in a pot with Thomas Taylor, Friedman raised Taylor's completion on third street showing an ace versus Thomas' queen.

Friedman then bet fourth through sixth streets showing ace-king high on board with Taylor calling down with queen-jack high before the players checked seventh street.

Friedman sheepishly announced "tens" at the end with split tens, which actually ended up being the winner.

Then shortly after, facing a raise of his completion on third street and subsequent bets from Ben Diebold's king-high board on fourth and fifth streets versus his queen-high board, Friedman called a final bet on seventh after action was checked on sixth.

Friedman showed just a pair of sevens in the hole, but they were indeed the best hand to boost his stack over 1,300,000.
