Steinman Gets the Knockout

Niveau 14 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Hasan Kural raised preflop, but then was three-bet all in by Ian Steinman. After a few moments of deliberating, and possibly influenced by Steinman's table talk, Kural made the call and the cards were tabled, with Kural at risk.

Hasan Kural: {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Ian Steinman: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {4-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and Steinman's tens held, eliminating Kural.

"Every time I start talking just know I have a big hand," Steinman told the table as he was stacking his new chips.

Schutten Gets Paid

Niveau 13 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Joining the action on the turn, the board read {a-Spades}{2-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}. Brek Schutten check-called Pete Chen's 100,000 bet from the big blind.

The river was the {3-Clubs} and Schutten led out for 350,000. Chen went into the tank before making the call. Schutten showed {q-Spades}{9-Hearts} for two pair as he took down the pot.

Mason Busts; Tournament Redrawing Around Three Tables

Niveau 13 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Chip leader Christopher Chatman called an all-in shove from Craig Mason for around 700,000.

Craig Mason: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Christopher Chatman: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The {8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{k-Hearts} board sent Mason to the rail, and Chatman chipped up to three million as the players redraw around three tables.

Sammartino an Early Bust

Dario Sammartino
Dario Sammartino

Dario Sammartino was all in with {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} but had run into the {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} of Thomas Taylor.

The {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} board did nothing but give Taylor a set, and the 2021 WSOP Main Event runner-up was an early elimination here on Day 2.

Meanwhile at another table, Joel Fishman was also spotted exiting the tournament area.
