Yanni Raz raised to 20,000 from under the gun. From the cutoff, Max Kruse shoved for his last 153,000.

"No guts, no glory," Raz said as he went into the tank for nearly five minutes.

"The problem is, I'm relying on one more card," he added before the tournament floor reminded him he couldn't talk about his hand before the draw.

Raz eventually called, repeating his "no guts, no glory" mantra, and turned over while drawing one. Kruse had a nine-six.

Needing and eight or a deuce to knock out the soccer star, Raz instead got a king and Kruse doubled up.
