Phil Hellmuth opened under the gun and action folded around to Daniel Zack in the big blind who defended.
Both players took two cards on the initial draw. Zack then check-called a bet from Hellmuth.
The second draw saw Zack again take two while Hellmuth only drew one. Zack checked for a second time and called when Hellmuth fired off another bet.
On the final draw Zack stood pat and Hellmuth drew one after which action checked through. Zack turned over , eliciting a good deal of laughter from the table. "The old queen-ten winner", joked Andrew Kelsall as Zack scooped the pot.
Daniel Zack raised from under the gun and Phil Hellmuth three-bet one seat over. Action folded back around to Zack who made the call.
Zack took one card to Hellmuth's two on the first draw, after which Zack led into Hellmuth and was called.
The same drawing pattern was repeated on the second draw. Zack then fired off another bet and Hellmuth called.
The final draw saw Zack stand pat and Hellmuth take another card. Zack slowed down, checking to Hellmuth, who put out a bet. Zack called and Hellmuth tabled for a winner.
Blind on blind, Phil Hellmuth raised and Eric Wasserson called. Both players drew three.
"I have deuce-three," said Hellmuth.
"I have deuce-four," replied Wasserson.
"Well I'm marginally ahead," said Hellmuth before check-calling a bet. Hellmuth drew two and Wasserson drew one. "This is where I get a little revenge. I get to check-raise him."
Hellmuth checked but only called after Wasserson bet.
Both players drew one on the end and both checked.
"Deuces," said Wasserson as Hellmuth announced "Number two," and tabled
"That's a good queen," said tablemate Andrew Kelsall.
Matt Edgar raised under the gun and was three-bet by Brian Hastings in the cutoff. Action folded back around to Edgar, who made the call.
On the first draw, Edgar took two cards while Hastings drew one. Edgar then check-called the continuation from Hastings.
The second draw saw both players take one card and again Edgar checked to Hastings, who fired off another bet. Edgar was not prepared to let go of his hand just yet, however, and flatted.
Edgar took one more card on the last draw before checking to Hastings who had stood pat. Hastings put out a third barrel and Edgar quickly called. Hastings turned over and Edgar mucked to leave himself short stacked.
