Shakerchi Joins The Table, Experinces The Templeman

Niveau 9 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Andre Templeman
Andre Templeman

Andre Templeman bet 15,000 into a pot of around 20,000 versus Talal Shakerchi, heads-up. Templeman was under the gun against Shakerchi to his direct left, who paid the bet off.

A few hands later, after calling a cut off open, Templeman called a small blind three-bet from Talal Shakerchi. Both players drew one card and Templeman showed down {j-}{8-}{7-}{5-}{2-} for the winner.

Soon after, Phil Hellmuth sat down at the table.

Templeman, who swears he learned the game of 2-7 draw after busting Event #35: The Millionaire Maker No-Limit Hold'em, has been the life of the tournament so far and has been sitting amongst the top stacks most of today.

Gonzales Busts To Templeman

Niveau 9 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Andre Templeman
Andre Templeman

After Matthew ''MJ'' Gonzales moved all in from the big blind for his last 49,500 chips, Andre Templeman called it off from the cutoff.

Both players drew one card and Gonzales could only manage to draw a queen {q-}{7-}{4-}{3-}{2-} against Templeman's ten {10-}{8-}{5-}{4-}{3-} to send MJ packing. He didn't even get his hands on Templeman's horse mascot/card protector, either.

Elias Bets Big, Gets The Fold

Niveau 9 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Darren Elias
Darren Elias

Darren Elias had squeezed from the big blind to 18,000 over the Cary Katz open of 5,000 and call from the small blind. Katz let it go and the small blind called.

The small blind discarded and drew one and Elias stood pat.

The small blind checked before Elias fired 50,000, with the small blind having around 80,000 behind. Eventually, the small blind let his hand go and Elias is trending back upwards.

We're entering the last level of the day.

Big Double For Anderson

Niveau 10 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

After a swingy day, going to chip leader, then losing two thirds of his stack, Bradley Anderson is now back near the top of the leaderboard after he doubled up.

PokerNews isn't sure how the money went in but Anderson was standing pat with his 120,000 or so committed to the pot against a similar stack.

Anderson's {10-}{8-}{7-}{4-}{3-} held against the {7-}{5-}{4-}{2-} that drew a {4-} to pair his hand.
