Smidinger and Mitchell Continue to Battle

Charles Mitchell raised it up on the button and Eric Smidinger defended from the big blind. The flop came {j-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Smidinger check-called a bet of 1,200,000 from Mitchell.

The turn brought the {7-Clubs} and both players checked to the {6-Clubs} on the river. Smidinger led out with a bet of 3,400,000 which put Mitchell in the tank for a couple of minutes. He eventually found a call and Smidinger showed {a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for trip deuces to win the pot.

Sarnoff Outkicks Liebert's Trips in Blind vs. Blind Battle

The flop came {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{a-Hearts} and Liebert checked to Sarnoff who bet 1,000,000. Liebert called.

On the {8-Hearts} turn, Sarnoff fired again, this time for 1,500,000. Liebert called.

The {j-Clubs} hit the river and Sarnoff fired a third bullet, putting out a total of 2,500,000. Liebert quickly called.

Sarnoff declared "I have an eight" and Liebert said "I do too." Sarnoff flipped over the {k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, to which Liebert shrugged at as she turned over {q-Hearts}{8-Spades}.

Morciano checked this time and Smidinger checked it back to the {q-Diamonds} on the river. Morciano checked once more and Smidinger put together a bet of 3,600,000. Morciano dumped his cards to the muck and Smidinger collected another pot.

Mitchell Takes Pot from Sarnoff

Ben Sarnoff called from the small blind and Charles Mitchell checked his option.

The flop came {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Sarnoff fired a bet of 1,000,000. Mitchell called.

Both players checked the {j-Clubs} turn and Sarnoff bet 1,500,000 quickly after the {k-Diamonds} river hit the board. Mitchell thought about it for some time before putting out a raise of 4,000,000.

Sarnoff seemed puzzled: "Can you really beat this hand? I can't tell if this is old Mitch or new Mitch." Sarnoff folded and Mitchell was back to nearly 15,000,000.

On the {q-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop, Mitchell checked to Morciano who fired for 1,500,000. Mitchell called.

Both players checked the {6-Clubs} turn. The {9-Clubs} came through on the river and Mitchell fired for 2,500,000. Morciano seemed hesitant and appeared to nearly fold before calling.

Mitchell showed {q-Clubs}{10-Spades} for the straight while Morciano showed the {5-Hearts} for the low end of the straight.

Smidinger Raising in the Blinds

Biagio Morciano limped in from the small blind and Eric Smidinger raised to 1,900,000 from the big blind. Morciano called and the dealer fanned the flop of {j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}.

Both players checked and the {10-Hearts} landed on the turn. Morciano checked again and Smidinger tossed in a bet of 1,400,000 which got Morciano to fold.

On the next hand, Smidinger raised to 1,800,000 in the small blind and Kathy Liebert shoved all in for a little over 10,000,000 in the big blind. Smidinger folded and Liebert showed the {a-Hearts} as she raked in the pot.

Sarnoff Makes a Straight Flush

Biagio Morciano raised to 1,600,000 in the cutoff and was called by Eric Smidinger on the button and Ben Sarnoff in the big blind. The flop came {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and the action checked to Smidinger who bet 1,600,000. Sarnoff called and Morciano got out of the way.

The {2-Clubs} landed on the turn and both players checked to the {j-Diamonds} on the river. Sarnoff checked again and Smidinger quickly checked back. Sarnoff showed {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a straight flush and Smidinger was forced to concede.

"I was hoping you had the ace," Sarnoff said to Smidinger.
