Fenoglio Busts Kings for Knockout

Niveau 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

The heads-up action was picked up on the turn, with a board of {2-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{7-Spades} and around 10,000 already in the pot.

The under-the-gun player fired for 7,000. After a brief moment or two of thought, Rusty Fenoglio put in the call from late position.

On the {a-Clubs} river, a snap-jam came from under the gun and Fenoglio made the quick call with his opponent covered.

Opponent: {k-Diamonds}{k-}
Rusty Fenoglio: {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}

The opponent's kings were no good, as Fenoglio had been ahead from the flop with his set of fives. He scooped the pot while his opponent departed from the table.

Block Rivered Full House; Queens Good for Lovell

Niveau 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

Picking up the action on the river with almost 60,000 in the pot and a board of {2-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades}, one player was already all in as of the turn. Keith Block announced all in from the button for 17,000. Gary Lovell had 6,800 behind and was in a quandary, but finally folded.

The all-in player was standing behind his chair, bag on the back, when it was time to showdown:

All-in Player: {4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Keith Block: {6-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The all-in player had flopped a straight, but Keith Block improved street by street to a full house, eliminating his opponent.

On the very next hand, a player opened in early position and Gary Lovell announced all in for his last 6,800. His opponent tank-called.

Gary Lovell: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Opponent: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

The board came {5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Lovell doubled up.

Malik Cracks Aces and Straight

Niveau 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

Crazy action on a {5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop, caught on table 466. Three players were in the hand with just 2,700 in the pot after a raise, a call from the button, and a last call from Brian "B Rabbit" Malik in the big blind.

Malik checked that flop, so did the opener, and the button bet 2,000. Malik called and the opener check-raised it to 16,000. The button announced all in for 29,500 and Brian Malik also made the call, covering both opponents.

Opener: {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Button : {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Brian Malik: {8-Spades}{6-Spades}

The opener flopped a straight, the button had pocket aces, and Malik had the flush draw. The turn came {j-Spades} completing the flush for Malik, who was begging for a red card on the river. The {8-Hearts} completed the board and Malik eliminated two players on this hand.

Shillingstad's Queens Hold for Triple Up

Niveau 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

Action was picked up with the middle position player and William Shillingstad in the small blind having moved all in. The button called both shoves as the big stack, while Shillingstad was the middle stack of the three players. With no action left, they tabled their hands.

Middle: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
William Shillingstad: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Button: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

With Shillingstad ahead, the {2-Hearts}{2-Spades}{7-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} runout changed nothing and Shillingstad's queens were still good. The middle position player was sent to the rail while Shillingstad scooped the pot.

Elsewhere, Steve Craps has built one of the largest stacks in the field with well over 100,000 sitting in front of him.

Kathy Liebert was all in for her last 6,400 on the river with a board of {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. Her opponent quickly tossed a chip on the table to call.

Kathy Liebert: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

With a set of sevens, Liebert secured a double up against the top pair of the other player.

"Finally I've won a hand, this is my highest point today. My chips are here, here and here", said Liebert, pointing at different players' stacks on the table.

Terris Beats Aces on River

Niveau 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

Action was picked up with 3,000 in the middle and a flop of {9-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. Bruce Terris shoved in the big blind, getting a call from the button.

Button: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}
Bruce Terris: {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

Terris was behind, but had two chances to hit a club for the flush. The {j-Hearts} turn didn't complete the flush, but it did give him more outs as he picked up an open ended straight draw. The {k-Hearts} on the river gave him that straight, good enough to beat pocket aces, and send his opponent out of the tournament.

Jones' Top Two Gets Double Knockout

Niveau 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

Three way action was picked up with a board of {4-Spades}{k-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and around 30,000 in the middle.

Action checked to Doug Jones in late position who moved all in for a bit under 20,000, which was enough to cover both opponents. The big blind called quickly, and the under-the-gun player took a minute or two, but eventually made the call as well.

Big Blind: {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Under the Gun: {4-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Doug Jones: {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Each player had two pair, but Jones' top two was enough to beat both opponents. He scooped the pot while his opponents left for the rail.

Just Shove And Pray

Niveau 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

In late position, Donny Dougan decided to shove around 20,000. Everybody folded to the player in the big blind, Viktor Pabst who hesitated for a while, before eventually calling for his last 14,500.

Viktor Pabst: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Donny Dougan: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

The board came {9-Spades}{4-Spades}{8-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and the turn offered a set for Pabst, who cracked aces to survive.

Schneider Doubles Up with Straight Flush over Nut Flush

Niveau 4 : 200/400, 400 ante
Tom Schneider
Tom Schneider

Action was picked up as Tom Schneider, in the cutoff, called the jam from early/middle position. There was already 24,000 in the pot and the flop had come {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. The two had nearly identical stacks, with Schneider the player at risk by less than 1,000.

Tom Schneider: {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The {4-Spades} changed nothing, but the {7-Hearts} gave the opponent the nut flush, but gave Schneider the 9 high straight flush, good enough to bust the nut flush, and collect the double up.
