Battenberg Turns Full House in Three-Bet Pot

Niveau 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

James Battenberg opened for 2,100 from under the gun and a player in early position raised to 6,000. It folded back around to Battenberg who took his time to decide before flatting.

The flop came {q-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Spades} and both players quickly checked.

The turn brought the {7-Hearts} to pair the board and Battenberg checked a second time. The early-position player put out a bet of 11,000 and was called.

On the {5-Diamonds} river, Battenberg checked and the early-position player thought for a few seconds before tapping the table and turning over {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}.

Battenberg flipped over {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for the turned full house.

Gardner Asks for and Receives his "One Time"

Niveau 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

A player in early position opened for 2,700 and Roy Gardner shoved his remaining 6,400 chips in front of him from middle position. The big blind thought for about 60 seconds, asking how much the original raiser had, before opting to fold. The early position player called.

Roy Gardner: {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Early Position: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The {3-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs} was little help to Gardner and the {9-Clubs} turn meant that Gardner was forced to beg for his ace.

After Gardner repeatedly asked for his ace "one time", the {a-Hearts} hit on the river, with the table erupting in light-hearted laughter as Gardner found himself with a second chance.

Fine Flops Nut Flush, Now Over 100,000 Chips

Niveau 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

With over 25,000 in the middle on a {9-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{10-Hearts} board, the small blind overbet jammed for 40,200. Melanie Fine, in late position, snap-shoved for her last 44,000.

Jeff Yarchever, on the button, was surprisingly left scratching his head and after a couple of minutes, folded {2-Spades}{2-Hearts} for bottom set. It turned out to be a wise decision.

Small Blind: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
Melanie Fine: {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

Fine had flopped the nuts and already had the small blind drawing dead. After the {k-Diamonds} completed the board, the pot of over 100,000 chips was pushed in her direction.

It's Never Over

Niveau 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Down to 6,500, and all-in on a {2-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{4-Clubs}{10-Spades} turn, Jon Hansen had very few chances to survive.

Jon Hansen: {9-Clubs}{2-Hearts}
Yuejian Wang: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

The river was a {2-Clubs} and everybody on the table reacted loudly to that situation: with trips deuces, Hansen survived and cracked Aces.

Hulett Cracks Aces on River

Niveau 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Action was picked up on a {2-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Spades} board with around 9,000 in the pot.

The hijack moved all in, and Tom Hulett made the call from the big blind with his opponent covered.

Hijack: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}
Tom Hulett: {4-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

Hulett was drawing thin, but hit an out on the {7-Hearts} river which gave him a full house. That was good enough to crack his opponents aces and send him to the rail.

Cosby Hits Running Trips

Niveau 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Action was picked up with around 10,000 in the middle and a board of {9-Spades}{j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. Reggie Cosby led out for 3,000 from the cutoff, getting a call from his opponent in the big blind.

The {8-Spades} turn was checked through before the big blind fired for 6,000 on the {8-Clubs} river. Cosby made the call. His opponent turned over {k-Hearts}{q-Spades} for king high before Cosby showed {7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}, giving him trips on the river. That was good enough for Cosby to rake in the pot.
