Jeff Madsen

Jeff Madsen had opened under the gun and was called by Justin Brooks, who's playing in his first WSOP event, a lifelong dream of his. Now he gets to say he played with the pro's, too.

The small blind called and the three saw a flop of {6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, Madsen then moved all in for 130,000 or so and Brooks and the small blind folded.

Manuel Machado

Manuel Machado was heads up from the cutoff against the middle position player Arthur Schiavo. Schiavo joked that PokerNews should definitely record the hand as they both checked the flop and turn on {8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}.

Though when the {q-Spades} came in to complete the board on the river, Schiavo lead out for 7,000 and Machado raised to around 30,000. Shiavo made the call and both players let out a laugh as they both turned over {k-}{q-} for a chop.

You know what they say?

Cards were on their backs all in preflop with Shaun Colquhoun in early position against the cutoff, Angela Jordison.

Shaun Colquhoun: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Angela Jordison: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out clean for the vet, Colquhoun. The board {8-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{x-} was clean enough for Colquhoun, doubling him to a very health stack.

After a player in middle position had opened Nana Sanechika made a three-bet from the small blind to 25,000. After some thought, the player let go of the hand. The Japanese player is quietly building a stack in the last few levels.
