Becker on the Brink

Niveau 23 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Benny Glaser picked up {a-}{q-}{j-}{4-}{2-} in the small blind and limped. Johannes Becker {10-}{9-}{9-}{9-}{3-} checked his big blind.

Both players drew three. Glaser bet with {10-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{2-} and Becker called.

Glaser drew one and Becker drew two.

Glaser improved to a number four {7-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-} and bet. Becker called with just 75,000 behind.

Glaser stood pat and Becker drew two again.

Glaser bet enough to put Becker all in, but having thrown away a queen and a deuce, the German received them back and was sat contemplating his tournament life with {q-}{9-}{3-}{2-}{2-}.

He eventually folded as the game changed to No-Limit Hold'em.

Glaser Takes a Big Chunk out of Kihara's Stack

Niveau 23 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Seven Card Stud

Naoya Kihara: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} / {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{7-Clubs} / {3-Hearts}
Benny Glaser: {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} / {3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} / {8-Clubs}

Naoya Kihara completed with a ten and Benny Glaser raised for Kihara to call. On fourth street, Kihara check-called a bet and Glaser then improved to the wheel on fifth street to check. Kihara bet his gutshot broadway draw and then faced a raise by Glaser to come along and see at least one more card.

On sixth street, Glaser bet his open lead and Kihara reluctantly called before Glaser then also bet seventh street as well. Kihara had missed and double-checked his cards before sending them into the muck.

As they were about to proceed to fourth street, the dealer exposed the {j-Hearts} as burn card and the floor was called before the action carried on. Glaser bet and Kihara called as the Brit did so again on fifth street when he picked up the suited ace, earning a call from Kihara.

On sixth street. Glaser then checked and Kihara bet with a mere 625,000 behind. Glaser reluctantly called and failed to improve on seventh street to check. Kihara checked it back to and won a vital pot to keep his hopes alive.

Omaha Hi-Lo

Yuri Dzivielevski raised on the button with the {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and was called by Naoya Kihara in the big blind with the {q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}.
