Bellande Chopped Up by Dzivielevski and Chidwick

Niveau 15 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Limit Omaha 8 or Better

With three bets each in on a flop of {k-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, Jean-Robert Bellande checked from the big blind and Stephen Chidwick checked from early position. Yuri Dzivielevski then bet from the button.

He was called in both spots to see the {10-Hearts} come on the turn and this time Bellande led out. He was called by Chidwick, but then Dzivielevski kept up his aggression with a raise. Again, both opponents called and a big pot was brewing.

On the {6-Spades} river, bringing in both a flush and a low, action was checked to Dzivielevski again and one final time he bet, leaving himself just 100,000 behind. Bellande folded, but Chidwick called.

Dzivielevski showed {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Spades} for the nut flush to take the high half of the pot, while Chidwick showed {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for the nut low to claim his half of the pot.

Kenney Slips Two Times

Niveau 15 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Bryn Kenney in the cutoff checked the {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop and then called a bet by Koray Aldemir on the button. He repeated the same action on the {3-Clubs} turn and the {q-Hearts} river as Aldemir rolled over the {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds} for the straight.

"I had kings and nut diamond," Kenney admitted in table chat.

In the very next hand, Erik Seidel and Kenney both had the same low with ace-trey but Seidel had also paired his eight to win three quarters of the pot.

Pot-Limit Omaha

With approximately 400,000 in the pot on a river board of {8-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}, Bryce Yockey checked from the big blind to Naoya Kihara, who put out a tower of green chips equal to 400,000.

Yockey went into the tank for a couple of minutes before spiking a tower of his own in front of himself to signify a call.

Kihara showed {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{3-Hearts} for a full house of aces over eights to take down the 1,000,000+ chip pot.

In a battle of the blinds, a small pot had emerged until the {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and that's when the chips went in between Michael Moncek in the small blind and Daniel Weinman in the big blind.

Daniel Weinman: {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades}
Michael Moncek: {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}

The {8-Diamonds} on the river paired the board and improved Weinman to a full house, eights over queens, as he doubled through Moncek for 650,000. Moncek and Adam Friedman have suddenly become the short stacks over on tabvble 140.

Bellande Eliminated by Chidwick

Niveau 15 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Jean Robert Bellande
Jean Robert Bellande

Pot-Limit Omaha

Jean-Robert Bellande raised to 40,000 on the button. Stephen Chidwick raised to 135,000 in the small blind. David "ODB" Baker looked like he was considering something in the big blind ultimately folded.

Bellande called and saw a flop of {7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. Chidwick immediately moved all in.

Bellande agonized over the decision, saying to Baker "I wish you had shoved so I could have just put it in."

In fact, he turned his hand {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} face over and continued: "This might be the worst fold of my life," he said, but ultimately he called.

Chidwick showed {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs} and held on the {5-Spades}{k-Hearts} runout, sending Bellande to the rail.

Mizrachi Busts in No-Limit Deuce

Michael Mizrachi

Michael Mizrachi, winner of the 2010, 2012, and 2018 WSOP $50,000 Poker Players Championship, will not be adding a fourth title to his poker resume after busting in a hand of No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw.

He drew one against a standing pat Adam Friedman for his last 300,000.

Friedman tabled {10-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{3-} and Mizrachi was drawing live with {8-}{7-}{5-}{3-} and could hit any deuce, four, six or nine.

Mizrachi crouched down to peel his final card. "It's a three-sider," he said, meaning the card was a six, seven or eight. He peeled some more before flipping over an {8-} to pair and bust.

Dzivielevski Doubles Through Chidwick

Yuri Dzivielevski
Yuri Dzivielevski

Pot-Limit Omaha

Yuri Dzivielevski raised to 55,000 from the button and was called by Stephen Chidwick in the big blind.

After Chidwick checked the {a-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop, the Brazilian continued for 45,000, which Chidwick called.

On the {8-Hearts} turn, Chidwick checked again and Dzivielevski bet 110,000. Chidwick took his time but called once more.

The river brought the {5-Clubs}, completing a potential flush. Chidwick placed a stack of green T-25,000 chips forward to put Dzivielevski all in for his last 235,000.

Dzivielevski made the call, which turned out to be a good one.

Chidwick showed {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{8-Spades} for a queen-high flush, but Dzivielevski showed {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades} for a king-high flush to double up to nearly a million chips.

In a three-bet pot to the {8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop, Ap Garza in the small blind bet the pot and then called all-in when Koray Aldemir raised on the button.

Ap Garza: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Koray Aldemir: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

The {3-Diamonds} turn gave Aldemir no further equity as Garza had diamonds covered. Nothing changed on the {2-Hearts} river either as Garza doubled for 360,000.

Negreanu On Fumes

Niveau 15 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

From his short stack, Daniel Negreanu raised under the gun and was called by both Johannes Becker on the button and Dan Cates in the big blind.

Cates drew three cards, Negreanu drew two and Becker also took two.

Action was checked to Becker who bet, but he was then called by both opponents.

Cates and Negreanu each drew two, while Becker discarded just one.

Again the players checked to Becker, who bet once more. Cates called quickly, but Negreanu paused briefly before opting to call, leaving himself just 80,000 behind.

Cates took one, Negreanu needed one, and Becker stood pat.

The play was then checked through on the last betting round with Becker rolling over {9-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}, which would end up being the winner.

On the following hand, Becker raised in the cutoff, with Negreanu calling in the big blind and bringing out the vlogging gear.

Both players needed two cards and then checked. They each drew two again, but this time Negreanu moved the last of his chips forward, receiving a call from Becker.

"Kid Poker" then stood pat, while Becker needed one card.

Negreanu showed {10-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}, while Becker showed {8-}{7-}{5-}{2-}, drawing very live. Unfortunately for him, he paired his seven, sending a small double-up to Negreanu, who is now battling to stay alive in the tournament.
