2-7 Triple Draw

On the last draw, Adam Friedman drew two and Ben Yu drew one and the cards were turned over.

Adam Friedman: {8-}{4-}{2-}

Negreanu Secures Urgently Needed Double

Niveau 15 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Daniel Negreanu pushed all-in for 180,000 in the cutoff and it folded all the way to Johannes Becker in the big blind, who reluctantly called.

Daniel Negreanu: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Johannes Becker: {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}

The superior ace remained ahead throughout the {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts} board as Negreanu improved to the nut flush for the double.

Daniel Negreanu

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

From his short stack, Daniel Negreanu raised under the gun and was called by both Johannes Becker on the button and Dan Cates in the big blind.

Cates drew three cards, Negreanu drew two and Becker also took two.

Action was checked to Becker who bet, but he was then called by both opponents.

Cates and Negreanu each drew two, while Becker discarded just one.

Again the players checked to Becker, who bet once more. Cates called quickly, but Negreanu paused briefly before opting to call, leaving himself just 80,000 behind.

Cates took one, Negreanu needed one, and Becker stood pat.

The play was then checked through on the last betting round with Becker rolling over {9-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}, which would end up being the winner.

On the following hand, Becker raised in the cutoff, with Negreanu calling in the big blind and bringing out the vlogging gear.

Both players needed two cards and then checked. They each drew two again, but this time Negreanu moved the last of his chips forward, receiving a call from Becker.

"Kid Poker" then stood pat, while Becker needed one card.

Negreanu showed {10-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}, while Becker showed {8-}{7-}{5-}{2-}, drawing very live. Unfortunately for him, he paired his seven, sending a small double-up to Negreanu, who is now battling to stay alive in the tournament.

In a three-bet pot to the {8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop, Ap Garza in the small blind bet the pot and then called all-in when Koray Aldemir raised on the button.

Ap Garza: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Koray Aldemir: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

Yuri Dzivielevski
Yuri Dzivielevski

Pot-Limit Omaha

Yuri Dzivielevski raised to 55,000 from the button and was called by Stephen Chidwick in the big blind.

After Chidwick checked the {a-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop, the Brazilian continued for 45,000, which Chidwick called.

On the {8-Hearts} turn, Chidwick checked again and Dzivielevski bet 110,000. Chidwick took his time but called once more.

The river brought the {5-Clubs}, completing a potential flush. Chidwick placed a stack of green T-25,000 chips forward to put Dzivielevski all in for his last 235,000.

Dzivielevski made the call, which turned out to be a good one.

Chidwick showed {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{8-Spades} for a queen-high flush, but Dzivielevski showed {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades} for a king-high flush to double up to nearly a million chips.

Mizrachi Busts in No-Limit Deuce

Niveau 15 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

Michael Mizrachi

Michael Mizrachi, winner of the 2010, 2012, and 2018 WSOP $50,000 Poker Players Championship, will not be adding a fourth title to his poker resume after busting in a hand of No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw.

He drew one against a standing pat Adam Friedman for his last 300,000.

Friedman tabled {10-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{3-} and Mizrachi was drawing live with {8-}{7-}{5-}{3-} and could hit any deuce, four, six or nine.

Mizrachi crouched down to peel his final card. "It's a three-sider," he said, meaning the card was a six, seven or eight. He peeled some more before flipping over an {8-} to pair and bust.

Pot-Limit Omaha

Jean-Robert Bellande raised to 40,000 on the button. Stephen Chidwick raised to 135,000 in the small blind. David "ODB" Baker looked like he was considering something in the big blind ultimately folded.

Bellande called and saw a flop of {7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. Chidwick immediately moved all in.

Bellande agonized over the decision, saying to Baker "I wish you had shoved so I could have just put it in."

In fact, he turned his hand {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} face over and continued: "This might be the worst fold of my life," he said, but ultimately he called.

Chidwick showed {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs} and held on the {5-Spades}{k-Hearts} runout, sending Bellande to the rail.

Daniel Weinman: {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades}
Michael Moncek: {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}

The {8-Diamonds} on the river paired the board and improved Weinman to a full house, eights over queens, as he doubled through Moncek for 650,000. Moncek and Adam Friedman have suddenly become the short stacks over on tabvble 140.

With approximately 400,000 in the pot on a river board of {8-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}, Bryce Yockey checked from the big blind to Naoya Kihara, who put out a tower of green chips equal to 400,000.

Yockey went into the tank for a couple of minutes before spiking a tower of his own in front of himself to signify a call.

Kihara showed {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{3-Hearts} for a full house of aces over eights to take down the 1,000,000+ chip pot.
