Frakes Ahead for Once in His Life

Niveau 31 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Derrick Stoebe raised to 400,000 from the cutoff. Mike Vanier moved all in from the button for 1,800,000. Action folded to Stephen "The Mover" Frakes who went into the tank and said "I'm probably behind, I've been behind my whole life" before he called all in for less. Stoebe paused before folding.

Stephen "The Mover" Frakes: {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Mike Vanier: {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

For once in Frakes life he was ahead. That was until the turn when Vanier made two pair {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{j-Spades} however their was more drama as the river was the {10-Clubs} giving Frakes a better two pair to double up.

Jordan Winn Eliminated in 25th Place ($11,404)

Niveau 31 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Jordan Winn
Jordan Winn

Jordan Winn opened from the cutoff by jamming for around 2,000,000. He got one caller, Daniel Marcus in the big blind, who had Winn covered.

Jordan Winn: {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Daniel Marcus: {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}

Winn was behind, but had outs. The {q-Hearts}{k-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop did not change much, but the {j-Diamonds} turn gave Winn a straight draw. He failed to connect with the {4-Clubs} river, however, and was left with just ace high, not enough to best Marcus' pocket fives.

Winn was sent to the rail in 25th place, worth a cash of $11,404, the biggest score of his career.

Saidman Doubles Up

Niveau 31 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Tamir Saidman moved all in from under the gun for 1,680,000. Action folded to Daniel Marcus in the hijack who moved in over the top for 14,000,000. All other players folded.

Tamir Saidman: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Daniel Marcus: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Saidman was in great shape and was in even better shape when the flop came king high {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. The {a-Spades} turn left his opponent drawing dead as he doubled up as the {9-Spades} river came down.

Roberto Musu Eliminated in 26th Place ($11,404)

Niveau 31 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Roberto Musu moved all in from under the gun for 540,000. Action folded to James Stern in the hijack who moved in over the top for approximately 4,500,000. Everyone else folded.

Roberto Musu: {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
James Stern: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

Musu needed some help. The flop came {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Spades} which left Musu drawing thin. He was drawing dead on the {4-Diamonds} turn to eliminate him from the tournament. The {7-Clubs} river was irrelevant.

Niveau 31 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Frank Reichel raised and was called by Kyung Lee on the button. All the chips went in the middle on the {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs} board.

Frank Reichel: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Kyung Lee: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}

Reichel was in great shape and avoided the jack as the turn was the {10-Diamonds} and the river the {8-Diamonds} to double up.

Marchington Takes a Big One

Niveau 31 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Action was picked up with around 1,200,000 in the pot and a flop of {10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} on the board. Kyung Lee opened for 400,000 from under the gun. Nick Marchington, in early position, made the call while Sarah Wasch folded from the big blind.

Action now heads-up, the turn was the {a-Spades}. Lee check called Marchington's bet of 1,250,000.

On the {j-Diamonds} river, Lee again checked to Marchington, who fired for 4,000,000. After a moment or two, Lee made the call, flicking a single 5,000 chip into the middle.

Marchington turned over {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades} for a set of sixes, and Lee pushed his hand towards the muck, as Marchington raked in the pot, giving him one of the biggest stacks in the room.
