With 60,000 already in the pot in a three-way hand with the under-the-gun player all in, Rich Nguyen shoved his last 35,000 on a 
rainbow flop from the cutoff. The button folded.

In a cruel twist of fate, the player all in had flopped top two pair but was way behind Nguyen's set of nines.
The board ran out 
to eliminate him and Nguyen chipped up to around 100,000.
With approximately 40,000 already in the pot on the 
turn, Eric Van Der Burg faced a bet of 20,000.
He let it go and is still sitting above chip average.
The board has been updated to show 468 players.
There will be 401 players paid a minimum of $1,601.
First place will be awarded $330,609 and an elusive WSOP gold bracelet.
Play will go hand-for-hand when we get to one or two players away from the money.

Jeff Bond just survived for his tournament life.

Bond's aces and queens were best against aces and threes and he chipped back up.
There was 20,000 in on the 
flop when Eric Van Der Burg bet 7,000.
His opponent popped it up to 19,000 and Van Der Burg quickly moved in for 48,000.
That put his opponent into the tank, as he used a magnifying glass to double-check his cards and the board.
He eventually let it go and Van Der Burg smacked his hand face down on the table.
"Bully," he said jokingly. "You're a bully."
The table burst out laughing and Van Der Burg stacked his new chips.
Famous actor James Woods is not only present for Day 2 of the Super Seniors Event, he's putting on a Hollywood performance.
In a hand relayed by the table, Woods was in position in a three-way pot against a middle position foe and the big blind.
The flop came 
and the middle position put out a bet of 22,000. Both Woods and the big blind called.
On the 
turn, the middle position player was all in for 52,000 with all three players continuing to the river.
On the river, Woods shoved and the big blind folded.
Woods turned over 
for the win and assumed the leading role in the tournament.
Allyn Shulman is still in the field.
She holds a WSOP bracelet and is a member of Women In Poker Hall Of Fame.
Shulman is sitting just under chip average early in the day.
She has more than $800,000 in recorded earnings with 43 cashes at the WSOP.
