Great Start of the Day for Sengphet

Niveau 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

According to the table, Stephanie Dao opened in early position and Jacqui Newman three-bet to 13,000. La Sengphet called on the button and Dao shoved for around 55,000. Newman reshoved for slightly more and Sengphet went deep into the tank before calling

Stephanie Dao: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Jacqui Newman: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
La Sengphet: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

Dao had the best starting hand but the board brought {8-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{k-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and a {10-Diamonds} on the river to give a straight to Sengphet and bust Dao and Newman at the start of the day.

Saelee Finds the Right Call

Niveau 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Action picked up on the turn in a heads-up pot between Suehane Sanchez and Mina Yean Saelee. The board read {6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{6-Hearts}.

Sanchez checked to Saelee on the button, who made a bet. Saelee check-raised from the big blind. Saelee quickly moved all in.

"I don't know if I can fold this hand," said Saelee. After thinking for about a minute, Saelee made the call.

Suehane Sanchez: {6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Mina Yean Saelee: {6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

Both players made trips on the turn, but Sanchez was in rough shape. The {8-} river was a brick and Saelee scooped the giant pot that eliminated Sanchez.

Baugus Collects With the Better Ace

Niveau 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Cherly Baugus opened to 9,000 from late position. Action folded to Laureen Monosson who moved all in from the small blind for 54,000.

Baugus thought for about a minute before making the call.

Laureen Monosson: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Cheryl Baugus: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Baugus had Monosson dominated, but the {10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{10-Spades} made things interesting. Looking for a queen or a heart, Monosson saw the {6-Spades} and {9-Diamonds} peel off the deck that ended her day while Baugus scooped the pot.
