Bounty Leader Fraser Claims Another Victim

Blinds: 50,000/100,000/100,000

Chris Fraser has been laying waste to this tournament all day long and has just claimed his 21st bounty of the day!

Jean Ferreira jammed from the button for about 400,000 and was called by Fraser in the big blind.

Jean Ferreira: {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Chris Fraser: {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}

Fraser didn't have to wait long to take the lead in his quest for another bounty as the flop came {10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{j-Spades}, pairing Fraser's ten.

The turn {q-Clubs} and {2-Spades} river brought Ferreira no help, sending another bounty to Fraser for a total of $10,500 in bounties on the day, to go along with at least $9,160 which is the current payout with 33 players remaining.

Updated Chip Counts at Last Break of the Night

Lee Cracks Kings

Blinds: 40,000/80,000/80,000

Jae "Unbelievable" Lee open-jammed in early position and a player who had him covered re-jammed from middle position.

Jae "Unbelievable" Lee: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Opponent: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Lee needed to hit an ace and did so when the flop came {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. Nothing changed on the runout of {7-Spades}{6-Clubs} and he earned a double up after cracking kings.

Plans For a Hard Stop Announced

With nearly double the number of entrants as last year, the success of this event has prompted a needed plan for a hard stop to prevent play through the night.

Tournament staff has announced that play will be halted at 3 a.m. with any remaining players returning Thursday at 3 p.m. to complete the event.

Chen Sent Away by Mighty Rohr

Blinds: 30,000/60,000/60,000

Pete Chen moved all in from under the gun for a bit under 400,000. Steven Rohr moved in for slightly more from the button.

"I have a big pair," said Chen jokingly as he flipped his cards in an attempt to win a race.

Pete Chen: {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}
Steven Rohr: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

The {3-Spades}{j-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop brought a jack for Rohr, leaving the WSOP bracelet winner in need of a four to survive.

Unfortunately for him, neither the {7-Diamonds} turn or {8-Diamonds} river brought Chen the help he needed, and he was eliminated with just six tables remaining in the field.

Colquhoun Doubles With Nines

Blinds: 30,000/60,000/60,000

Shaun Colquhoun opened in middle position and the small blind three-bet jammed. Colquhoun called off with 730,000 when the action folded around.

Shaun Colquhoun: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Small Blind: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

The flop came {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{q-Spades} to give Colquhoun a lock on the hand with a set and the runout of {k-Hearts}{2-Hearts} didn't change things for him to double up.

Updated Chip Counts

Blinds: 25,000/50,000/50,000

Shaun Colquhoun, who was among the chip leaders not long ago has taken another hit to his stack as he went after another bounty.

He raised to 130,000 on the button and was met with a jam from his opponent in the small blind who requested to not be identified.

Colquhoun called in hopes of scoring another $500.

Shaun Colquhoun: [asaq]
Small Blind: {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}

The {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{k-Clubs} runout brought no help to Colquhoun, who saw his stack cut in half again.

Kings Hold for Ho

Blinds: 25,000/50,000/50,000

Kyle Ho was all in for around 800,000 against an opponent who had slightly less.

Opponent: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Kyle Ho: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

Ho had his opponent pipped and his kings held up as the board ran out {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{4-Diamonds} to eliminate the opponent, who was clearly annoyed with the setup.
