Docherty Doubles Against the Odds

Niveau 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Action picked up with David Docherty calling a three-bet from Noah Harthcock preflop, leaving himself with about 150,000 behind and well over a million in the pot.

The flop came out {q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and Docherty committed his remaining chips. Harthcock called.

David Docherty: {j-Spades}{q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Noah Harthcock: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}

Docherty had top pair and an open-ended straight draw, but he was up against aces and the flush redraw. The turn was a brick {6-}, but the river was the {q-Spades} to give Harthcock trips and take down the large pot.

"You playing the mini main? Got someplace to be?" asked a tablemate.

Keogh Pressure Folds Ulch Out

Niveau 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

With action five-ways to a flop, it was checked around.

On the turn the board read {8-Spades}{2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}. When checked to in the cutoff, Glen Keogh decided to ramp up the aggression, betting 300,000 into a pot of around 800,000. Only Thomas Ulch on the button called.

Heads-up to a river of {k-Spades} and now Keogh bet 600,000. After a short while, Ulch decided to let his holding go and allow the ever-growing stack of Keogh to grow a little more.

On a turn, with the board reading {3-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Clubs}, Benjamin Miner checked it over to Sokchheka Pho who checked back.

With the pot around 400,000 Miner checked again on the {k-Diamonds} river and Pho checked back and mucked and Miner showed {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades} for two pair.

Both players are now around the same chip stack.

Pho Finds a Full Double

Niveau 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Action picked up on the turn of a three-way pot. The board read {10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}.

The player in the blinds checked, Sokchheka Pho checked, Jason Pena bet 400,000 in position. The first player folded, but Pho check-raised all in for 725,000. Pena called.

Sokchheka Pho: {k-Spades}{10-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Jason Pena: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

Pho had the full house, but needed to avoid one of the two remaining queens on the river. The last card fell the {k-Diamonds} and Pho locked up the full double.

"Whew, I saw paint," Pho was worried for a second, but ultimately was the one raking the pot.

Rees Sends One Home

Niveau 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

David Rees raised from late position before Davis Aalvik moved all in for slightly more from the small blind. Rees called quickly and cards were tabled.

Davis Aalvik: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}
David Rees: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

The flop hit {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts} to give Aalvik a flush draw against Rees' set. The {10-Diamonds} turn, though, gave Rees the unbeatable boat to send Aalvik home.

Lankinen Gets it Done on the Turn

Niveau 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Action started on the flop in a pot between Tommi Lankinen and Leonard Sande. The board showed {3-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}.

From out of position, Lankinen led for 125,000. After some thought, Sande made the call.

The turn brought the {a-Clubs}. Lankinen thought for about a minute, counted his chips, and put 350,000 into the pot. Sande didn't think too long before releasing his cards and conceding the pot to Lankinen.

Nearby, Koray Aldemir was seen heading to the rail after his flopped two pair was run down by double-suited queens of his opponent.
